There is one in our neighborhood for sale for $2,195,000. My dad is selling it so he told us the price I was surprised. I am 100% sure there are many more that are significantly more expensive in our zip code, but that is the one in our neighborhood that we know of.

@Corduroy: same here about the zip code and the home...just a safe neighborhood. Incomes are probably middle to high but it's mixed. Just an expensive city I guess. Some of the other places on here are stunning!

I live in a little farm/logging town, here's what I found ~
1st is 12.5 dividable acres in the city limits for $1.5mil
2nd is a lovely 1920's farm house 10 minutes outside the city on 126 acres for $999,950
Lovely exposed beams and a grand fireplace
A cook's dream, here have some warm soda fresh from the stovetop, don't mind the cord to my ceiling light. *SMH*
Over abundance of storage, that is if you don't mind a little wind and rain 9 months out of the year!
This barn is pretty though, most likely the best of this property.

I'll do two: One for my current city, and one for my hometown
The first is for sale in my current zip code for $4.5 million, 5 bd/6 bath, 10,000 sq ft. It was built in the early 90s and frankly looks it, ha! I'd take the pool any day, though!!
The second is in my hometown....for merely $44 FREAKING MILLION DOLLARS, you can have this 12 bd/16 bath 22,000 sq ft home on 60 acres!!!! This estate belongs to John Huntsman Jr (former UT governor, republican presidential candidate). It's built with reclaimed wood from Yellowstone, and has a cozy (or at least as cozy as 22,000 square feet can be) mountain lodge feel, with a bunkroom that sleeps 20, indoor pool and fitness center, and a 28-car garage.

There's actually one that's more expensive, but it's a "built-in business" (storage units, I think?) along with a farmette, so I'm not counting it.

This spectacular custom home combines all the amenities of new construction while blending beautifully with the surrounding historic neighborhood. The home, built in 2006, by BOA Construction, boasts six en-suite bedrooms, including a main-floor master suite, and seven baths, complimented by formal living and dining rooms, a main-floor study, two laundry rooms, finished basement, attached three-car garage and elevator to all three levels.
Elevator?! Awesome. I love the staircase in the entry!
