We have central air. It rare in the PNW but I'm so glad we sprung for it. It's a heat pump so we get the benefit of using it in the winter as well.

Central. Being in California, it's not optional.

In Florida, central air is a requirement in my book. It would just be cruel and unusual otherwise!

we don't have AC, but it's pretty cool at our place, even on the hottest days.

we also don't have it in the car, though, and that is NOT fun

@mrbee: same as yours! Units in the master bedroom and living room. LO sleeps with us but in a few months when we move him to the nursery we might need to get another unit in there.

Luckily we have a ton of trees on our property so it keeps it pretty cool, when it gets super hot we just have a window fan in our bedroom at night.

Same! Our ac units are in the master bedroom and living room. Not sure if the nursery will need one-- this room used to be my office and I was fine w a fan only, but I wasn't sleeping there. We thought she would be sleeping in our room in a bassinet longer, and so be in the ac room, but we transitioned her to her crib at 1 month.

We have central air. I never had any air conditioning prior to us moving in 4 years ago and now I can't imagine living without it! So spoiled!

central air, with 3 zones (living room, LO"s room, our room). I wish we could leave the windows open but we don't have screens so we get bugs and it gets noisy at night.

Central FL aka... the swamp. We kind of have to have central air here. It gets bad quick if it fails. Not a month has passed that I haven't needed to use it! (Even December/January)
