Because its a GIRL! A little surprised but SOOO excited! And we actually have a girl name so we don't have to stress about that anymore! Her name will be Kaia Lynn.
Kaia... well... just because I like it. (k-eye-uh) and Lynn is my mothers and paternal grandmothers middle name.
Mr. Hedgie can't stop bragging about his "baby girl" which is a little surprising since he was so determined it was a boy and so excited to have a boy. But it is also so cute and sweet!

@MamaCate: Don't worry, I do too. I was trying to convince myself to like that name too since DH loved it but it just wasn't happening. This name however, was decided YEARS ago and we both LOVE it! I keep telling him to thank God its a girl because now she wont have a screwed up, last minute name! lol

Yay, congrats! I was absolutely sure we were having a girl, so I was shocked when it turned out to be a boy. So much for mother's intuition!

@bree72: That is exactly how I was. I was so sure I was having a boy I even bought a couple very boy onsies that were on sale... I guess if you add a bow they could look good on a girl! lol
