Most of my friends, early 30s, are single. The married ones are childless.

DH's friends had kids in their 20s.

I voted 24-26 but 27-29 is also common here. Mt sister got pregnant at 25, and my other sister is having her first at 27.

Late 20's, early 30's...to me having kids after 30 has always been normal. My parents were older (they were married a while, finished grad school, etc before having kids) so I've never really thought of it as *old*.

18-21..We're the first of our "couple friends", but a solid 65% of my graduating class had kids straight out of HS. So, a good number of my friends already have kids, or are pregnant right now.

Many of my friends are single. The coupled friends that have children began having kids in their 30s, at the minimum 33. I have one friend who had a child at 20 and no IRL friends who have had children in their 20s.

Most of our friends are having their first now or have very recently had them. We're all in our early thirties. The last two years or so has been wedding after wedding as we all got married and now it's baby after baby. I do have one friend who got married at 19 and had her three children all before she was 25, but she is the exception.

I'm 25. None of my friends (all within a 1-2 years of me) have kids yet.

I'd say that the first couple that had kids started at 28/30. After that, everyone started having kids in their 30s.

Right around when we turned 30 the baby train started. 26-30 it was at least four weddings a year, and now everyone is making babies. I think we fall right in the middle of the curve of our friends (32 and just had our first).

We are in a big city in the northeast where the average age for your first is a lot higher than the national average.

I can only think of one close friend who was under 35 and she was 33! If you count people I went to high school with then it becomes more even but all of my close NYC, LA, Seattle and Portland friends have been over 30 and some are still single or not started yet. Only one too longer than a year to get knocked up as well.

were the first of our friends to have kids, at 25. most people around here either do it two ways. right after high school (usually not planned, to be honest) or wait until mid twenties- early thirties. a lot of my classmates right now are starting to get married and have kids though in the last year or two.

The age divide among my friends seems to depend on whether they went to college or not more than anything else. The majority of the ones who didn't had kids in their early 20's; the majority of the ones who did are now in their early 30's and just starting to have kids. So, for my friends, there are sort of 2 groups, with some but not much overlap.

Most of our friends are turning 30 this year or next and don't have kids. A lot of them aren't married yet, or are just recently married.

Two of my friends are pregnant, and they are 29 and 31. None of my other friends have kids.

Most of my friends now are slightly older than I am, mid 30s or so. Only two of them have babies but it isn't for a lack of effort. Out of our 6 close "couple" friends, only 1 couple has not had fertility troubles I'm sad for all of them but at the same time, I also don't feel so "behind" either.
