We're both 30, and almost all of our friends are either the same age or a few years older. One close friend of ours has a daughter who just turned 8. He was 21 when she was born. Another close friend is expecting a baby this winter, and he's 29. The rest of our friends are still child free, and a lot of them are single. We've been NTNP for about 7 months...and I think the fact that most of our friends don't have kids yet has made it a lot easier for me to not start freaking out about things.

We are the first of most of our friends to have kids, which is a bummer, because no one wants to hang out with the parents of a 15 month old and a 1 week old.....we need more parent friends!

I'm 29, and most of my friends have or are trying for at least their second, and most their third right now. Many had their first around 23-24. I realize this is unusual, but sometimes, it makes it hard to remember that 30 is not old!
