6w1d but it was only 99bpm. The doctor said that was fine, but it seemed low to me. So far so good though at 14.5 weeks!

I had my first appointment at 6w6d. I saw and heard the heartbeat.

I saw it at 5w6d, but it was low (93 bpm) so they told me a miscarriage was likely. I didn't miscarry, but the whole thing was extremely stressful.

At 5 weeks 6 days there was no heartbeat. At 7 weeks 3 days, there was!

@Rockies11: how silly of them to make you worry! 5w6d is still early of course--seems like they would have been more reassuring!

@Rockies11: totally ridiculous! My RE at 6 weeks said they'd be thrilled to see any heartbeat and over 95 is what they want by then. Mine was only 99 and they were very happy with that.

I saw the heartbeat at each of my first ultrasounds. It was 6w4d with LO1 and 7w3d with LO2. I think they were around 120 both times.

I didn't have an ultrasound until 12 weeks so then. They tried to hear it with a Doppler at 8 weeks and could not, but said its hit or miss then. So far everything is good at 17 weeks.

Saw it around 7w3d, but baby measured almost a week behind. Two weeks later it had almost caught up to EDD and we could see and hear it.

I purposely scheduled my first checkup later around 8-9 weeks for that reason: I would be freaking out and worried, I neeeeeeded to see/hear a healthy heartbeat.

Found out I was pregnant at 3w6d, and RE scheduled an ultrasound at 6w3d. We saw the heartbeat!

Believe it or not, at 4weeks and 5 days we saw the little flickering heartbeat through vaginal ultrasound..
Doctor didn't think we were going to but think we just got lucky. 6 weeks is definitely a possibility!

I did at my first ultrasound at 7 weeks. I know my sister didn't around 6 weeks and it caused some concern but it was just too early in that case, baby was fine.

We saw it at our first ultrasound at 8 weeks, but the doctor doesn't like to listen to it that early. I heard it the first time at my next appointment around 13 weeks.

6 or 7 weeks. 5 weeks we didn't and were told we were probably miscarrying but I knew it was just too early. We went back for a following ultrasound within 2 weeks of that one and heart beat was strong. She's now 27 months!

With this LO, we saw a heartbeat at 5w exactly...so it's definitely possible at 6w!

@leighleigh: craziest part was that I didn't know I was pregnant. We had a surprise baby I was shocked to see that little flicker.

I am pretty sure it was about 6 weeks. LO measured a few days small at that point, but by the 20 week ultrasound she had made up the difference. So exciting!
