I feel like I'm "close," but still far away. Due date is about 8 weeks from today...but probably less. Not sure what last minute things I should take care of. I feel like gear-wise we are okay...but I don't know what things I might be needing to take care of in coming weeks.

I'm due August 3rd and still haven't! I know I really need to but I'm too overwhelmed on what to pack! I guess I better get on it...

I think I packed my bag during week 36!

I got yelled at by midwives last week to get it packed. I mostly listened, I have some stuff in bags and a list of items we use daily to add to the bags. I am having twins that will be born in the next week and a half. So I think it was kind of late.

I think I started packing around week 34. I'm glad I did because it gave me plenty of time to think about what I wanted to put in there, and I wound up going a couple weeks early, so it was nice to have it ready to go

I packed mine last night! I'm 35 weeks today and I delivered at 36 weeks with my son so I'm preparing juuuuust in case!

I started during week 37. Finished on my way to the hospital (no labor though, so that was easy for me.) I bought the travel size toiletries and dry shampoo and specific maxi dresses for the hospital that I packed. Stuff like makeup and things I use daily got thrown in last minute

Around 37 weeks. This is so even though I had preterm labor and contractions and was dilated by then!

I wasn't ready to give birth and I was afraid if I packed the bag I would use the bag...I think that is why i am doing everything so slowly.

I started packing mine early around 33 weeks if not earlier, but I kept adding stuff to it. when I reached about 38 weeks I put my bag in my trunk so i had it everywhere i went and that really helped, because I ended up being admitted to the hospital after a routine checkup and they didnt even let me go home to get anything so it was nice to have my stuff

I have most of mine packed up and I'm almost 36 wks. I started getting a list together though around 34 wks so I had time to pick up the few things I still needed to buy. It's my first so I'm overly-organized with everything b/c I have NO idea what to expect!

I still haven't packed the bag, and we have a scheduled c-section for this Thursday. lol.

I started packing it at 37 weeks but didn't finish until the night before my induction. I've always been a procrastinator though

I think I had my bag 90% packed at 30 weeks. I like being prepared!

Thanks everyone! I hung out with a friend today who is being induced a week from today. It just got me thinking about how much stuff I still need to do! Someone made her a "hospital survival bag" and it was really cute! Little headbands, hair ties, travel size shampoos, fiber bars, slippers.

Dh started packing approximately 20 minutes after my water broke. Oops. We kind of had a list. so we weren't totally starting from scratch, but we definitely got to the hospital looking like we were moving in for a week, and did a lot of "wtf is this and why did we bring it?" once we started opening up the bags.
I was totally convinced that I was going to have to be induced at 42 weeks like every other woman in my family, but I went ten days early. My poor mother had just taken her Ambien and gone to bed when we woke her up with the news that we were going to the hospital. -
I'll be 35 weeks on Wednesday and started packing in the last week or so. I made a list on my phone based on what other people have said they packed. As I buy things or find them around the house I try to add them to the bag and cross them off the list. I also have a list of last minute things next to the back so we'll hopefully remember to grab them on our way out the door.

36 weeks! And I am glad I had it packed a bit early because we had a false alarm at 38 weeks when I had to go into L and D for a blood pressure spike.
On a side note, once I actually delivered, the only things from my hospital bag I actually used were sweats, my tooth brush, and a Boppy.

I had started picking up a few things I needed whenever I would go out but didn't actually pack my bag until after my water had broken. Oops. Granted I was only 37 weeks so I thought I still had time!

I'm due August 12th and still haven't even gotten most of the things for my hospital bag. I'm such a procrastinator. *Sigh* With my first son, I had it packed way too early!
