I'm thinking this may go on my to do list for next weekend!
How far along were you?
And while we're talking hospital bags... Any suggestions on stuff to bring?

When I went in to labor at 38w3d! I was lazy about it and didn't think I would have him early. It was no biggie tho. I had a list ready, so it was easy to do before labor got too intense.

I was lazy about it. I think I started slowly at 36? 37 wks? but I was constantly throwing thigns in and out of it. Until I went into labor at 40w2d~ Thankfully our hopsital is only 5 min away and I was WFH the last month before LO's birth.

I started making a list at 35 weeks and buying things. But I never actually packed it until I went into labor at 37w5days. I was going to do it that next week but I ended up going into labor on that Monday. Oops!

Like @mrskc: I didn't (finish) packing until I was in labor. I started a bag around 38 weeks that had baby clothes, travel toiletries, the baby book, etc in it and I had a list of everything else I wanted to add.
Besides clothes and toiletries, I suggest you pack hair ties, a headband or bobby pins (I had one chunk of bang that kept getting in my eyes and it made me nuts), chapstick and socks.

I packed mine around 36/37 weeks. I grabbed a few lists on HB. Hair ties, toiletries, comfy pants, nursing tank, one of those cover up bath robes that are thin to cover up when we have guests...oh and i threw slippers in there so i could walk around the hospital in something
i actually almost forgot to pack outfits for the baby! I packed a Newborn and a 0-3M

I really need to get on this! I'm 37 weeks tomorrow and hope to pull it together over the next few days. I've bought everything I need to include in it (like granny panties -yay....), so now it's just a matter of getting it all in a bag.

I packed mine at 35 weeks, I had made a list of what to pack about 30 weeks and had a list of stuff I would need to add on the day of labor, I was induced though so it was easy to add them before going to the hospital. I overpacked way too much and barely used most of what I had taken so we had alot of stuff to cart home afterwards.

36 weeks. I have a list of everything that still needs to go in each one (like phone and charger), but it was nice to have it all mostly laid out.

I should have done it at 36 or 37 weeks but we had guests both weekends so we didn't do it until I was 38 weeks and in active labor. DS took the pregnancy books and baby books we had and used the lists in those to pack. Only thing he forgot was a camera (thank goodness for smart phones!).

I started packing it around 37 weeks. There was a lot I didn't want to pack away though, since I didn't have so many extra things that fit, etc., so I had a list (as did DH) of what to add when necessary. I was so glad I had that list...once my water broke and they told me to head in (I was scheduled for a C-section a few days later), I was not thinking clearly enough to have packed well!

at about 38 weeks, but some stuff was packed at the last minute (i.e. toiletries that i was still using).
i packed a whole bunch of stuff that i didn't use! i packed grippy socks, but the hospital provided those. i packed a nursing tank, but i wore the hospital gown the entire time. i brought flip flops to wear in the hospital shower, but i didn't end up showering. i didn't even need to bring underwear--i delivered vaginally and they give you huge mesh granny panties. i couldn't imagine wearing regular underwear.
things i did use: comfortable going home clothes (yoga pants and sweatshirt), camera/phone/kindle, toiletry necessities, lanolin cream, and going home outfit for the baby.
oh, i also brought a yoga mat and ball to help with labor--didn't use either.

The most of it was packed last week (34 weeks) - but I've got a few extra things to throw in there over the last few weeks.

37 weeks.
I didn't pack much...
For me:
Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, face wash, deodorant)
Clothes (stretchy yoga pants and biiiiig baggy old tshirts)
Snacks, fruit juice
Lanolin
Phone charger
Uggs (it was winter, and my hospital is cold!)
For baby:
A few onesies and stretch and grows
A few blankets and muslin wraps
Nappies and wipes (the hospital doesn't provide those here)
Hat, socks
Along with my handbag which has my usual phone, iPod, moisturiser, lip balm
That was all!
ETA: my mum was in the room with us, so she was in charge of pictures

The night before my scheduled c-section, ha ha. We were very disorganised.
