My 8 month old has 4 teeth. At this point would you just wipe teeth with a washcloth or brush them or...? Neither?

We brush when the teeth come out. Not for terribly long, but for a few seconds a couple times a day.

I would brush them...because I don't want to be bitten. Haha. We were using a tooth brush with just water but she will let me brush a little longer with the flavor of a safe to swallow toothpaste

We brush with a toothbrush and toothpaste as soon as the teeth come out. That was 4.5 and 6m for us.

We started brushing when she got her first two teeth at 6 months. We started with a baby toothbrush and water to get her used to it and made it part of her bedtime routine. When she got her next 6 teeth, between 10 and 12 months, we started using safe to swallow toothpaste. The toothpaste helps her tolerate it a bit better. She's far more interested in playing with the toothbrush than actual brushing.

I suck at teeth brushing and my youngest hates it and scream cries. So I only attempt every couple of days. I give her the electric toothbrush and let her suck on it, but I don't think that's doing much. And she's 13 months.

Now I know you're supposed to brush when teeth come up, but we didn't until around a year
