This is mostly a question for SAHMs who don't have regular weekday child care...
Did you bring lo1 to prenatal appointments? If not, who watched LO?

My LO is in daycare, but I have seen other moms with their kids in my OB's office.

Yes, he came with me for most appointments since my husband's work schedule isn't very regular. The only thing I ever 100% made sure to do was to have my husband at all ultrasounds.
C ranged 18 months to just over 2 years during appointments, so I brought him in the stroller with lots of snacks, books, and a couple toys that would keep him busy (cars and a remote control toy)

I SAH and DH never has a regular schedule so I try to make my appointments around my moms work schedule. B is nearly 5 so I'm not worried that he could sit still but E is 22 months and I'm pretty sure she would try to get into everything. I would put her in the stroller but the rooms are small. I'm sure I'll have go with both of them soon so I'll just try to sit both in a chair with a few books.

I was lucky to have my sister watch LO when I had to go in for appointments. I tried to schedule it around her classes, and it worked out well. At one point I was going in for three appointments a week, and each one would last an hour or longer. LO would have been miserable, but I would make it work if I had to bring him along.

@lemondrop: that is almost my exact situation if ttc doesn't take long, thanks!
Good to know it's not out of the ordinary! I couldn't remember if I saw moms with Los at the OBs office besides newborns or with other adults.

Pretty much brought DD to all of them. I think it helped her get excited anyways. For the longer appts (anatomy scan, nt ultrasound) I had MIL watch her. I just make sure to pack her favorite snack and she sat quietly most of the time

@googly-eyes: It wasn't a big deal to my doc, he said they are used to it. Their only requirement is to have another adult present if it is a scheduled ultrasound appointment, which worked fine since I always wanted my husband present to see it too.
We don't have family close by, so I just made it work and came prepared. He always did just fine other than playing with toys that made noise, which wasn't an issue. The Sandra Boynton book apps on my phone were a lifesaver if he was ever having a cranky day.

She came to about half. The other half DH looked after her if he was on days off or my dad did.
