I'd say latter half of second trimester! You're still feeling good, but probably sporting a cute bump at that point too!

I went super early in the second trimester and while I was still able to enjoy moving around comfortably etc... I was in that awkward bump stage wher eI just look bloated, not pregnant!

We did a trip to Maine when I was 33 weeks pregnant.... Dh kept joking if I went into labor we'd have to book it back across the border to get our free delivery !!

Went to Paris (from NYC) at 29-30 weeks. I think that would be the latest again for us to go internationally. Mid-20s is more ideal.

If it's just a local getaway, perhaps I'd go til around 33-34 weeks.

The latest I would have gone 1-2 hours away is probably 34 weeks

I think 26-28 weeks. I was feeling good and that's when my bump was the cutest!

I went to Vegas when I was 34 weeks along. It was a 3 hour flight from home. I discussed it with my OB and she was fine with it.

We took a staycation both times. The first I was nine months, the second I was 35 weeks.... Cutting it close because lo came early at 36 weeks.

Both babymoons were taken around 20 weeks. We went to NYC when I was 36 weeks pregnant (2 hour drive, 45 minute train). It wasn't bad, and I had enough energy to take care of my 2.5 year old.

Honestly I was pretty sick all the way through and didn't feel up to going anywhere! I decided not to take a planned trip at 34wks overseas because I felt it was too risky if anything were to happen. Seeing as I went to almost 40wks this time and nothing out of the ordinary happened during pregnancy, I would probably take a trip up to 30wks, as long as I felt well enough to enjoy it!

We're going on - mini beach getaway next month when I'll be 33 weeks. I wish we'd planned to go a bit earlier, maybe around 25 weeks when I had more energy, but I think I'll be fine. We plan to be pretty lazy anyway!

With my 1st it didn't even occur to me that the baby might come early.

I had a planned c/s on Tues Sept 23rd - I was 37 weeks - we went out of town the weekend before and got home Monday the day before the c/s - We were about 4 hours away.

With number 2 I think I would have stayed home after 35 weeks!

Good to know -- we're trying to plan a babymoon too!

We flew to San Diego for 6 days for our babymoon, I was about 22 weeks. Perfect timing - I didn't feel exhausted like I did in the first trimester and wasn't too big yet so the flight was fine. We also went to Maine for a long weekend when I was 36 weeks, it was 1.5 hour drive from our house. I felt good but we didn't do as much walking as we normally would.
