my younger brother via text/phone (lives in NYC), ILs at dinner that night, then my parents and family (dad's 60th bday dinner) later on that wknd... around 7 weeks?

we slowly started to tell close friends throughout the following few weeks (those we'd want support from if m/c were to happen...)

and publicly announced at 13 weeks.

We told our moms a couple of hours after we tested on the phone (I was 4 weeks, 3 days). We told my dad either that night too or the next day, I can't remember. Then my brother and his brother and his wife a couple of days later. We told his dad when we went home for Thanksgiving about two weeks later. Besides that, the majority of people didn't know until I was 11-12 weeks when we included the information in our Christmas cards.

We told our parents and siblings the same night as the positive test! I let it slip to a few friends over the next few weeks, and then gave our parents license to tell aunts, uncles, cousins after the first ultrasound (8 weeks). I told my boss at 12.5 weeks.

Parent's and sister at 6 weeks, others at 10 weeks.

Depends which pregnancy you are talking about:
1st: I was on the phone with a close friend while I was peeing on the stick! Then we waited to tell parents until about 7 weeks, because his were in town and it was the first grandchild. We told siblings after first doc appt at 9 weeks and went public at 13 weeks.
2nd: I had bleeding early on and I was convinced it was a miscarriage. I knew I couldn't do that by myself, so I called my Mom almost immediately, and then told my SIL. I think DH told his Mom sometime in there. The whole family knew about it much earlier, but that is because we thought we were going to lose the baby (we didn't! he's a happy little 9 month old). But we would have waited until 13 weeks again.....

we accidentally told one of my DH's coworkers the day we found out. i sent him a text of the positive pregnancy tests(he already knew about 1, i took another to 'confirm' the first lol) and she was looking at something on his phone when the text came through! oops. we were going to wait until my first appointment at 8 weeks to tell anyone, but then a friend of DHs stayed with us labor day weekend and i left out the pregnancy book i was reading, so he found out at about 5 1/2 weeks. we finally told immediate family at 6 weeks, extended family at 8 weeks, DH's work at 12 weeks, my work at 13 weeks and then FB/everyone else at 14 weeks. i'm the one who wanted to wait more, just in case. DH wanted to tell everyone that day! the day after we found out i was pregnant, we were having a BBQ at our house, so it was definitely hard to keep it a secret.

My really good friend was visiting from NYC about 2 days after I tested positive. I couldn't hold it in and had to tell her. Then I told mother good friend a few days later when we went to visit her and her 4 day old son. We told our parents at about 6 weeks and went public with it at about 16 weeks.

We told our parents and sisters right away because if anything bad happened we'd need their support (and did end up mc'ing our first pregnancy). We didn't tell anyone else until about 11 weeks!

We told parents/siblings the day after we found out. I wish we would have waited and enjoyed the news privately for a little whole longer, but I was too excited. DH wanted to wait but his parents were already coming into town to visit and we werent going to see them again for awhile

I told one of my BFFs the same day, my parents, MIL, and my sister a week after getting BFP - we were seeing them all in person that weekend. I told two other good friends the following weekend when they were in town, and the rest of my friends at a Xmas party when I was 11 weeks and we had heard the heartbeat.
