Where do you put your mobile baby while getting ready for work?

@winniebee: right. I forgot about your 5am alarm clock (that doesn't have a snooze button). Shower at night?
@littlk: we have linoleum but we have rubs in there so, if she fell, she would probably fall on rugs. Haha and I hear you on pulling up on everything.

@mediagirl: Since I'm blonde, showering at night doesn't work b/c I end up looking uber greasy by about noon....

@winniebee: I hear you about watching them closesly. B rolled under our dresser, got his legs stuck and screamed bloody murder.

@winniebee: I can't shower at night either. My hair looks greasy by afternoon.

@winniebee & @littlek I've got nothing, then. Mine's a bit of a shadow so she doesn't get in that much trouble. Yet.

So, I don't get ready for work every morning, but if I have to get ready while LO is awake, I put her in the high hair in the bathroom with baby einstein on the iPad. It buys me enough time to do at least 75% of my routine.

I pack everything I can the night before. LO often sleeps til 7 (so I get up before then and do everything I can), but sometimes she throws a wrench in things and gets up at 5:30 or 6. I've baby-proofed the bathroom but left a drawer that she can open that is full of toys or things I don't care if she plays with while I shower and get ready. Other than that, the high-chair, pack-n-play, or quarantined in our babyproof-ed bedroom & closet are my go-tos.. The mornings when she is super-clingy are definitely a challenge though.

@littlek: @mediagirl: yesterday despite being fed and rested, he followed me around the whole time whining mamammamamama ememememem amammaam. Why is it "mamam" when he whines and "dadada" when he is excited/happy?
