We have two dogs that usually circle our bed like hungry sharks until we fall asleep then they jump up. Lately our female has taken to snoozing with our toddler. E loves it and it's more foot room in our bed!

Ours cats kind of roam and sleep all over, but our black cat prefers to sleep on his own and our gray cat prefers to sleep all up in my business.
The black cat would absolutely sleep with C if we left her door open. He tries it every night.

Our lab has always slept on her bed or the floor. Just recently, I started inviting her onto the bed to snuggle since I'm pregnant and can't get down as much to play with her. So now our arrangement is that she is welcome on the bed if only one person is on it; otherwise, she has to sleep on her bed. It would be too crowded with two people and a dog!

@loveisstrange: we just started leaving Es door open, because she wanted the dog to stay!

In bed..... They like to snuggle close, too close
ETA: apparently the pic is huge! and it looks like something is coming out of my nose, i swear it's booger free

@prettylizy: We dont trust our asshole cats. Theyd go nuts and keep her awake. lol

Two of the dogs are typically in bed with us and the third is on a chair or the dog bed in our room. We just brought the dog bed in recently and sometimes we manage to get both dogs sleeping on either that or the chair, so we only have one in bed with us - it's lovely! We need a bigger bed so I'll stop getting pushed off the bed by the dogs...

Our dog sleeps in his crate in our bedroom, or in the guest room with my DH. Our bed isn't big enough for all 3 of us and sometimes DH likes to snuggle with him.

They sleep wherever. Lately our younger dog, Lucky, has been sleeping in the nursery. We may put her bed in there. Our older dog Dutch is getting slow and is losing his vision, and we really want to foster an extra good relationship with Lucky and the baby, because she will really miss Dutch when he is gone.

Our cat sleeps either at the foot of our bed or too close to my face for my liking! She has zero desire to go into the boys' room.

They sleep in our bed but one is 5 lbs and the other is 17, so it's not that bad.

I feel awful now..... because our dogs sleep on their own beds in the utility room. They have a doggie door so they can go outside whenever they want but cant get into the rest of the house. They're not allowed upstairs at any time of day.

Dog bed. My husband is old fashioned like that! And since our dog's latest flea incident and weird skin condition, he's more convinced that ever. Glad we live in an apartment otherwise the dog would probably sleep outside

@Cherrybee: haha dont worry our dog doesnt sleep in our bed or room either. He sleeps in his bed inside by the front door....for protection His licking and snoring would drive me nuts if he was near us! Lol

Ours has a cage that he sleeps in. It's his "house," and he usually goes in there on his own at night.

Older small dog sleeps in the floor in our room. Younger huge bad dog has to sleep in his crate.

She sleeps in our bed (a king size, luckily). She is the absolute best snuggler.

Our cats both roam the house and sleep wherever. My cat usually ends up sleeping on my feet for a few hours each night.

@LindsayInNY: my other pup LOVES his kennel and even though he can sleep on the bed I find him there 90% of the time...he loves it!

@Cherrybee: Haha, that's where mine sleep too! They don't seem to mind their crates in the laundry room. It's like their "den," and with the dryer almost always going it's extra warm too. Like @mamimami:, both my Goldens have skin issues and shed so much, they would make our bed SOO gross.

He has a sofa at the foot of our bed he sleeps on. However, now that it's cold, he sneaks into my spot while I'm gone for MOTN feedings!

I don't like the dogs in bed with me. I need space and my chihuahua prefers to cuddle. So they sleep on the floor in our bedroom on their own beds. We leave our cat in the living room and she sleeps on the chair when she sleeps.

Our cats sleep in our bed, although I usually end up locking two out in the middle of the night because they decide it's playtime. The other one sleeps between our pillows. If I tried to lock him out he'd just bang on the door until I open it again haha.

I have two cats, so "wherever the fuck i want" is their mantra. Lately, the couches. Sometimes the box on top of the dresser at the foot of our bed or the top of the stairs. They're weird in that they generally like to sleep in another room

My Lab and Shepherd Mix sleep on their own beds in the kitchen. I'm on my own a lot of the time, and the first thing I want anyone breaking into the house to run across is a huge 80 lb. lab with a bark that shakes the house. The cat isn't friendly and tends to camp out with one of the dogs at night.

Our two Golden Retrievers dominate our bed. Thank goodness we have a California king!
I couldn't resist the opportunity to share pictures of my dogs.

We don't allow our dog on the furniture. She is happy to sleep on her bed in the living room or her crate in the spare bedroom. Though we are soon moving LO1 to her new big girl bedroom (aka spare bedroom) so they will be roomies.

@Sunshine1810: I saw you had posted and immediately came to see in hopes of seeing pictures of your pretty pups!
To answer the question, one sleeps in the bed and one sleeps in the dog bed. The one that sleeps in the dog bed often sleeps beside it and uses it as a pillow. Weirdo.

@LBee: Thanks! I love them so much. The little one is so big now! I wish they didn't grow so fast My younger dog uses her dog bed as a pillow sometimes too! So weird...

We have a crate and a dog bed in our room and she can pick whichever one she wants most of the time. We recently upgraded her crate to a little bigger one because we thought she was too cramped, but now she likes her bed better, lol. In the mornings after DH leaves she sleeps on the bed with me and on the weekends we like to crate her so she doesn't bug us too early.

Our dog sleeps on the bed with us in colder weather and under the bed when its hot. Sometimes he spends part of the night in the spare bedroom on the bed.
