DH and LO got me a plant that I had really wanted and a birdfeeder! LOVE! DH made the weekend really really special and made sure that I was a happy mama. I got my nails dones, went to brunch with my mom and spent lots of quality time with our LO.

DH and LO got me a Hammock I had been eyeing up for our yard (yay!) And I got flowers from all of the moms! I hosted my whole family including my two brothers and their inlaws as well. So we all exchanged flowers :o) My inlaws didn't come, but I got a gift card from them which was really nice!

DH gave me a card and is taking me to a dinner theater to see "The Sound of Music" this coming Saturday. DD/DS got me flowers and a card (which she proceeded to tell me was her and went on to open it); DS only got up once during the night
I made all three meals yesterday but was secretly hoping DH/DD would bring home donuts when they ran to the store in the morning (DH fails t think ahead on holidays like this).

I got texts and messages from friends and family. Cards from DH and the kids
Lots of good food and got to sleep in.I told DH not to buy me anything since I have everything I want and need.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: ugh yeah, he got one from Ben, one from Elly and he couldn't decide between 3 from him! I was like, the amount you spent on cards is a pedicure!

I got the Kate Spade Stevie diaper bag in the bow print and a Kate Spade zip-around wallet in polka dots from my husband and a mother figurine from my mom.

Just dh but he got me some hair stuff that I wanted, 2 new pairs of jeans, 4 plants for our fish tank and then took me and the kids out to dinner even though yesterday was also his birthday!

Hubs got me a gift certificate to a spa for a massage, facial, mani, and champagne. CAN'T.WAIT.

@Mrs. Pen: it's between the bed and a dining room table. I keep putting the bed off even though I love it. We only have 2 matching chairs for our table right now, and I'd like to fit at least 6 so we can host holiday dinners at our house. I hate being practical with gifts lol.

Just DH and K - got me a Tiffany and Co. necklace - but got the wrong birthstone so I have to go exchange it. DH also took a bunch of us out to brunch and we had a nice dinner just the 3 of us at Chart House. -
Dh gave me a great weekend, he tilled my flower beds, put compost down and planted all the vegetables and built a raised bed for the herbs. He also took us out on the boat on Saturday and cooked dinner. C & M bought me two gorgeous hummingbird feeders, a bag of sugar (for the birds) and some birdseed. Exactly what I ask for (pretty sure Grandma took them shopping) and cards from each.
My Mom had us over for a bbq last night, and we gave her some dahlia plants. MIL sent me a text, nothing from dh's step-mom. -
DH and my daughter. My dog signed the card too.

DH and I went out to dinner on Friday. Yesterday they gave me cards and a plaque that DH and LO made with his handprint on it. I also got to go out by myself in the morning for coffee and a pedicure. It was a perfect day.

My parents, in-laws (DH's parents, aunt, and grandma) sent me cards and I got sweet texts from DH's sister and some friends.
LO made me a card in daycare (she's only five months).

@regberadaisy: I totally understand, thats how it is in my situation too.
However I have to withdraw my confusion/ complaint (or whatever it was), because about an hour after I posted that, I got a card in the mail with a gift card from my MIL.
