Was it very obvious with no doubts it was a girl/boy? DH and i are thinking about going next weekend for a early gender scan, which would put me at 16w3d. He wants to go sooner... as in this weekend! They say they don't tell you if they are not 100 percent positive, and have you come back if any questions.... but i want to hear other peoples experience with finding out the gender early

I went at 16+4. It was obvious and accurate and worth it.

My doctor guessed (correctly) at 15 weeks, and then I found out for sure not long after. The only reason it was a guess though was that baby had her legs crossed, so "the goods" were slightly obscured. If baby had been in a better position, my dr would have been more certain

I went at 16+1. The tech said she was 100% sure it was a girl...and she was right!

Yes, we found out at 15 weeks both times. We have two boys, so it was very, very obvious what we were having and worth every penny for the elective scan.

I found out at 16 weeks and it was pretty obvious.

We found out at 13 weeks with #2! We didn't share with anyone until we confirmed it again at the 18 week mark, but we were pretty sure!

I did at my 16 week appointment at the doctor's office, which was then confirmed at the anatomy scan at 18 weeks.

We did - they said it was very definitely a girl.

I did at just shy of 16 weeks and it was very obvious with both at they were boys. I asked at our 12 week u/s and the tech didn't really want to say, but i asked her to give it her best shot and she did guess two boys then too!

I don't think this was an option with #1 or maybe it was and I didn't know? Anyway, we're not with #2. It doesn't change anything and I didn't want to pay for an extra u/s. LOL

With DS they could tell at our NT scan at 12ish weeks.

We went to a third party place at just before 15 weeks and it was obvious it was a girl. We looked at a bunch of U/S on YouTube and you could see all the parts. The first thing we saw was a crotch shot and I knew it was a girl! Sure enough, that's what the tech said and that's what have.

Found out at about 13 weeks and confirmed at 17. It was VERY obviously a boy from 13 weeks on. You could clearly see ALL his parts.

They told us they were pretty sure at 13 weeks but wouldn't officially confirm until 20 weeks.

I found out at 14 weeks 4 days! It was clear that he was a boy.

We found out at 12-13wks both times from the ultrasound tech, and had it confirmed by a separate doctor at around 16 weeks. Both times the initial prediction was correct although they'd only "say" it was a 60/40 guess. My girls were NOT modest kiddos though - legs wide open so it was very easy to see.

We waited to find out with the girls (one til the anatomy scan, and second time, I was TG), but with #3, we had to know early! The NT scan tech wouldn't guess because she was in a rush (in my opinion), so i posted a pic of the nub on another forum with a bunch of techs who like to analyze those things. They guessed boy with a 13 week picture! We got an elective u/s at 15 weeks and they confirmed it!
