Lo has jaundice so he's getting prepped to be put under the light.
Luckily the machine is portable so he can get treated in my room.. -.-
Still such a pain! It really stressed me out the first time my dd had it. Not as stressed this time around..
Supplementing with formula and trying to get him to pee!

My son had it too - hated having to keep going for heel pricks to get his bili levels checked, but was glad they eventually dropped on their own - lots of nursing was happening.

Awwww! I'm sorry he has jaundice! ...is that something where if one of your lo's have it, it pretty much means the next one will, as well? What did you order for breakfast????

@chopsuey119: Dood - I just saw this! I am so sorry! I freaking HATE jaundice! Like more than anything in the world!!!! I hope those Bili lights work fast! It is so miserable to watch your LO in there with that stupid mask on that moves all around....I couldn't sleep bc every time she moved, an eye was exposed from under the mask and I was so worried the lights were going to blind her if I didn't immediately fix the mask! Good luck, mama!!!

I know! We stayed an extra day because he wasnt peeing! And when he did it was uric crystals. Grr! It'll get better!

i do. if we have more kids, they'll probably have jaundice too because we're asian and more predisposed to it! LO hated laying under the lights because she was cold and she was so damn miserable. hope your DS's bili levels go down soon!
