My sister was present for my entire labor and delivery, so she was first!

My mom and sister were in the delivery room. My dad came in first from the waiting room, then my MIL & FIL came in (there was a limit in the delivery room so they rotated until we were moved). Nephew met her in the next morning.

My parents. I know the ILs are grandparents too, but labor/birth is pretty much on the woman, and honestly I really just wanted to see my mom after my terrifying c-section was over! I was a bit worried about hurt feelings, but it worked out because my ILs gave up and went home like a half hour before it was decided that I needed a c-section for sure, and by the time they got back my parents had already met our LO.

My mom was in the delivery room and my grandma was the first visitor to meet DS followed by my step father, uncle and brother.

My aunt is our support person so it will be her, then I imagine all the grandparents (my dad, the ILs) soon after that. Siblings are unlikely to be the same day due to several factors but I'm okay with that.

With #1, My MIL, FIL, SIL and BIL. They were in the waiting room and came in after I got back to my recovery room
With #2, I was adamant that DS be the first to meet his sister and that we had a little family of 4 time alone before anyone else came in. He was only 15 months old, so he didn't really get it.

My mom was in the delivery room. I honestly don't remember who met him first after that. We had an overwhelming amount of visitors.

My mom thought it was "weird" to be at the hospital for the birth so they weren't there. My ILs live across country so they came weeks later. So, sadly, the first family member to meet LO was my brother, who hates children, because he got drunk and snuck into our apartment in the middle of the night (we live downtown so we were near to the bar he was at) the first night we were home with our baby. So he met her in the am while I was kicking him out before my husband got up, ha ha ha.
