Who will be the next President?

    @ValentineMommy: I am a total 538 nerd. Been following it since the 2012 election and love Nate Silver. I hated statistics in college so who'd have thunk my favorite podcast would be a stats one?!

    ETA: I think 538 is being conservative. Here are some of the other election forecasts:

    @yoursilverlining: You look great! I wish I had a red power suit, I'd be all over it today!

    @yoursilverlining: You look great! I almost squeezed into my suit at 4 months pregnant but I wasn't sure how long I'd have to wait. I would have had to cover it up anyway since it's cold and I waited outside but I love the idea!

    I'm wearing a faux pantsuit today---and it's really funny, because I *NEVER* wear pantsuits! I'm wearing black ponte pants and a black knit jacket--it's the best I could do.

    @yoursilverlining: love it!

    I am so anxious about tonight's results. In 2008, I thought Palin was the scariest most unprepared VP nominee, but Trump trumped her and he is at the top of the ticket!

    @yoursilverlining: You look fierce!

    I wore a pantsuit today, mismatched (black blazer, grey slacks) because it's all I had. With a white shirt for the suffragettes and a yellow rose pinned to my lapel (that my husband brought home for me and my mom to wear when we voted this morning). I voted with my mother, wearing my daughter, and the weight of history and progress I felt had me tearing up.

    I don't have a pantsuit that fits right now but I wore white pants and a blue blazer for the next best thing! I'm so nervous but hoping Hillary can pull it off today.

    @lovehoneybee: that's beautiful!

    When I voted a couple weeks ago I caught myself getting emotional reading my choices for President. A woman was on the ballot!!

    @yoursilverlining: you look great!! Unfortunately, a pantsuit was impractical for parenting today, but I did wear a workout jacket with my yoga pants? #momsuit

    NYT is guessing 50% chance trump victory.
    Was at 67% earlier today for Hillary. And 80%ish at one time.

    This is nerve wracking

    I honestly wasn't that worried leading up to it, I think maybe I was in denial. Now with the results rolling in I'm freaking out. My kid cannot be born into a world where Trump is president. It just can't happen.

    @LibbyLou: I'm following the NYT election results online, and they are updating them in real time. It is nerve wracking! Clinton had a lead, and now it's showing Trump as the predicted winner. I just can't look... I'm scared

  40. NorthStar

    It's seriously the rural voters who are coming out in full force and adamant to not have Hillary. I just don't understand how someone can vote for him, especially after all he has said. I'm totally freaking out and wishing I wasn't 26 weeks preggo so that I could have a glass (or 5) of wine right now!
