My husband made a comment the other night that I think makes a lot of sense. I was talking to him about the many, many foods I am craving now that I am feeling yucky and not much sounds good. He said maybe we just crave things that have comforted us in the past or foods that we eat when we are feeling sick or sad.

I have always heard it was your body needing a certain nutrient, but I have been craving certain ice creams, crackers and other foods that always made me happy or made me feel better.

I think there might be something to his theory, that we just feel sick or nauseous or tired and want something to comfort us and make us feel better, but I was wondering what other people's theories were?
