We were team green with our first and I loved it! DH was super on board too although he would do whatever I wanted.
I am SO torn if we would do it again though. Second time around I really would like to know if we were having a boy or a girl. I would love to hear about people that were Team Green but then found out for future pregnancies and why.

Nope, we're finding out. I want to plan, and my family keeps asking me over and over when the appointment is ... so clearly I'm not the only one in suspense!

@T.H.O.U.: No. Because I knew I was going to need time to adjust if we were having a boy, since I always envisioned a girl. And I was really grateful to have that time, and then get excited again.

Nope, I have a serious gender preference for #2 so there's no way I could wait. And I'd be devastated to go all that time and then end up without the gender I'd like.
I really liked knowing at 11.5 weeks this time.

I don't think we will have a second, but if we do I think it would be fun to be team green. We found out with this LO, and I honestly don't know if I could live with the suspense, but I like the idea of it!

I think it makes sense for #1! I think #2 though it's tough because you don't know if you need to supplement clothes if you have a baby of the opposite gender as your first. I was too excited with #1 to not find out (18 1/2 weeks now) and with #2 we'll find out, if we have one of each though we agreed it would be fun to not find out.

I am currently team green with our first and I love it! But, depending how DH feels after this LO is born, if he really wanted to find out for the second, I might let him have it. He would have preferred to find out on this one, but I am the one making us wait, so I guess it would be fair.
But maybe he will love the surprise so much that we wait for all of them

Nope! We already know the sex! I could never stand the anticipation... I like to plan ahead and decorate the nursery either BOY or GIRL.

@rahlyrah: I just don't find it so suspenseful, I guess. I know it's a baby! Yes, I'm very curious if it is a boy or girl, but it's all the same in the beginning-- keep them alive and happy!

@kjpugs: Yes this is where I am at too.
Here is my list of why I would like to find out this time:
1. To narrow down the list of names we have to come up with. Coming up with multiple is hard!
2. To get her excited about a baby brother or sister.
3. To supplement clothing/gear if its the opposite sex. Although like others have said, we will survive just fine if this ones a boy.
4. To maybe help DH with gender disappointment if its another girl. He says he'd be ok with two girls, but I think he may like the time to adjust to the idea.

I don't think so. We're wanting one of each, and we got a son the first round, so we're hoping to have a daughter next. Plus, both sides of the family wants a girl so we definitely want to know!

We were TG with number one and we will be again for number two. That moment in the delivery room was TOTALLY worth it. I don't really see the need for knowing whether or not to buy additional stuff if the baby is opposite of your first. It's not any different than preparing for your first when you don't know the gender. We already have tons of gender neutral stuff that we can use right off the bat, and we'll have plenty of time to get additional clothes if our second is a boy.

We will definitely be TG again for our second (and third) babies! I love being team green. When people say they "need to plan" for the sex of the baby, I truly don't understand what needs to be planned!

@T.H.O.U.: I just think it would be fun to wait! I'd like another girl but I'd also be happy to have a boy and experience that...so in essence I don't care much about the gender, I know I'd be happy with either. As far as gear and clothes go, I'd just use some of dd's gear and if it's much further in between kids I'd just hold off on buying a lot of stuff. It can happen from my hospital bed if necessary..amazon is awesome. And I figure that since I have dd to keep me busy there will be less temptation!

Hell no! I hate anticipation of a surprise! The only way I could handle TG is if I did not know I was pregnant until I delivered!
My birth experience was so amazing, I really dont think finding out she was a girl when she was born would have made it any better:)

We were Team Green for #1 and #2, a boy and then a girl, and now that we have one of each, I want to find out with #3, just to experience it that way too. And if we go for #4, it will kind of depend on how I feel about finding out this time as whether or not we will be Team Green then or not. I really loved being Team Green, it was really amazing to have that anticipation, but, yeah, I want to see how it is to find out too. And it will make bedroom rearranging a little easier too.

We were not Team Green for LO 1, but I was for LO 2. It was an awesome moment right after birth, and I'm very glad I waited. I will not be TG again though! Once is enough for me I'll be finding out for future babies for sure!
