My kids usually get a good amount of stuff from my side of the family, so I would say they are pretty lucky! I always try and persuade my MIL to just put money in their accounts, since they do get so much. Never works though.

They'll be spoiled by my parents, but probably not by anyone else. Which is probably good! They have plenty already!!

Omg yes. It's why I only bought her 3 things, one of which she's too little for and will be put away for now. Everything else I wanted to get for her is being purchased by grandparents.

No...my inlaws follow a strict one gift per grandchild rule and my parents do as well.
Christmas is not the problem...it's the other days in the year when my son gets spoiled.

Yes, every year. It's a little insane. I feel like a Scrooge but I really hate how many gifts my DD gets every year. In the past we have been able to hide some away and dole them out throughout the rest of the year but I think this year she may catch on to that.

Ohh yes! We have the only kids on both sides of the family as of right now! Other Cousin is 14 she will be spoiled too!

YES. the family buying was out of control last year and looks like it will be the same this year... so Santa is only bringing a few gifts!

Probably not. I would be extremely surprised if LO receives a gift from anyone else besides my dad and my aunt, who both live close. When I showed MIL LO's gifts from us I said Christmas is done. We are happily setting ourselves up for being the sole gift pickers and providers.

Not really, our parents are more about spoiling with attention! No one goes over the top but he'll receive a handful of extra gifts for Christmas and his December birthday. My grandparents on the other hand, totally spoiled us, they said Santa came to their house ever year with our extra gifts. My husband keeps me in check with my shopping for our son.

LO is the only grand on both sides. Spoiling is an understatement! I am considering not even getting her any gifts from us (although that feels really weird) because the gifting from grands is out of control.
