I passed on getting this city mini double stroller for $150?
It won't hold two car seats like I want but it would be great to have onve they are older. I could just get a stroller frame until then.
What do you guys & gals think?

That's a GREAT deal! Get it and then I bet you can find a double snap n go stroller SUPER cheap somewhere used, too! Try your local consignment sale on half price day.

I know the max weight is 100# what is the minimum weight? I'm at work & having a hard time researching it.

@Sugar.Biscuit: I don't know much about pricing for this, but my SIL who is a pediatrician used this style of stroller with her newborn. She got some stares, but all is well.

Get it. Now. If you want something to use with the car seats, I found a used snap n go for CHEAP and used that with the infant car seats when they were little, but as soon as I could, I started using our side by side. If we lived closer, I would just give you our double snap n go.

@Sugar.Biscuit: I'd say get it! As for the minimum, I found this:
What is the City Mini Double’s minimum weight capacity?
Baby Jogger claims that the City Mini Double can be used for a child from birth. However, it is advisable that you place the child in an infant seat and then attach it to the stroller with a car seat adapter.

Get it! We used a double snap-n-go too when we were going places in the car (rare for us) but for walking around with the babies we used the Britax equivalent of this stroller from a month or two old.

Ooh I would totally get it! That color would hide smudges really well, bonus!

DH doesn't want me to get it because some lady at work who had twins 14 years ago said not to get it. Then he told me they thought it would be a good idea if I quit my job. I shouldn't be working in my condition...that's a whole different thread. So I asked my mom to buy it for her house

@Sugar.Biscuit: lol, because nothing has changed in 14 years I would say get it!!

@Sugar.Biscuit: oh dear lord - I need an eyeball rolling emoticon. I'm glad your mom will get it for her house. So, what do your co-workers want you to do - carry the twins everywhere?

@Sugar.Biscuit: I think it could be good for grandma's house or whatever but I would personally prefer a different setup because the side by side ones tend to be wide. I don't know too much about what's available for twins (that accepts two infant carseats) though.

@googly-eyes: this is what we have registered for. It works perfectly with our car seats & doesn't need any additional parts. I'm considering not getting it and just using the snap & go frame until the babies can go in the city mini. But DH really wants us to get thia one.

@Sugar.Biscuit: Have you tried test driving the City Mini vs. the Chicco? I would go with your DH to a BRU or BBB and tell him you just want to check them out. I bet the City Mini drives 10x better than the Chicco ;).

@Sugar.Biscuit: What kind of stroller have you finally decided on?
