What was it about? How long did it last?
Ours was this morning. It lasted 20 minutes. It was over blueberry crumb cake. Because it was all gone.

Monday, we were at a friends for brunch, he was a bit overtired, it was over having to go home and leave a "car". It lasted about 20 - 30 mins.

LO 1- Wednesday night- she wanted a snack right before dinner. She cried for 10 minutes? Maybe less but it felt like a long time!
LO 2- not really a tantrum but she was really whiny and needy after school yesterday.

He asked for milk. I poured him milk but as I handed it to him, he realized that he actually wanted a smoothie. Heap on the floor.

I wouldn't give him a cookie after he refused to eat most of his breakfast. It lasted on and off for about an hour (a minute or two of yelling and pointing at where we keep the cookies each time,) which is when it had been long enough I decided he could have a snack and gave him some grapes.

@autumnlove: The snack right before dinner thing frustrates me to no end, it's a daily thing here!

@wonderstruck: Ugh. I was putting dinner on the table when she asked for dried mango!

Last night, about 15 minutes, I told her to close the fridge door that she could not get anything out of it as it was close to bedtime.

@blackbird: Our major meltdowns are always over crayons and because I take them away after she draws somewhere other than the paper.
Our last was this morning at the supermarket after she wouldn't sit in the cart and I strapped her in.

@AprilFool: yes that too! Or she wants to eat them
I want to amend my answer to the restaurant debacle of tonight LOL

This evening, because she squeezed her juice box too hard and it spilled onto the floor.

Just maybe 30 minutes ago when he fought bedtime.
The tantrum prior to that I actually opened my own thread to vent. Haha.

@AprilFool: This is my life lately. Most recent tantrum was because my LO climbed on her table and my MIL took the crayons away as a result. She could color all. day. long.

Last night, and I don't even know why. She just got upset and then stared out the window crying for 10 minutes. Then she just stopped and went and played like nothing happened. Toddlers, man.

She's had a couple since DH was home tonight. He refuses to listen to me when I tell him she NEEDS warnings to transition well. He will just take things out of her hands, pick her up and move her, etc. It makes ME want to throw a tantrum because it's entirely avoidable!!
She had one earlier today because she wanted pop tarts and we don't have any.

@sorrycharlie: my DH does this! I am constantly trying to tell him not to manhandle her!

This morning. He wanted to put mittens on and was frustrated he couldn't do it and didn't want me to help. He laid himself down very nicely in front of the hall closet and whined. It was so funny.

This morning. We had differing opinions on what cardigan she was going to wear. She would not be convinced otherwise. It was over pretty quick, just 1-2 minutes. To be honest, I laid down the law and told her that if she kept it up, she REALLY wasn't going to wear the damn sweater. She stopped. I let her wear it.
I, apparently, do negotiate with terrorists.
