Haha excuse the personal question, but I was watching a film and the women were talking about how they went through a turned on stage in pregnancy around month 4.
I think I missed this completely, unless at 28 weeks its still to happen? Ulgh I just feel big and tired though.

My drive stayed the same till the end when I wanted too but it seemed like to much work.

There was a period of time where I really, really, really wanted to have a ton of sex, but my husband was not into pregnant sex. It was a sad, sad few months.

No it was way more for a while. It was in the middle of 2nd trimester. All I wanted to do was jump my husband's bones.

My drive probably stayed the same, but I was always too tired to want to do anything, so we ended up having less sex.

Drive was less during 1st tri when I felt crappy and the same as before pregnancy for 2nd and 3rd tri.

If this does happen I'd like some, haha!! Right now I can only think of sleep, and I certainly don't want to be touched sexually. I'm trying but their is no drive whatsoever. So sad.

Drive was waaaay less once I started to show. I couldn't seem to get over the fact that someone was in the room with us. Ha ha.

I was on pelvic rest for the first 12 weeks. It was normal frequency for another month or two but when my stomach got bigger my SO could feel the baby move he was weird about it. So we pretty much didn't have sex the rest of my pregnancy. I think if he had know it would take another 4 months after baby was born to have sex again he would have gotten over it

My drive went into overdrive from the beginning and stayed that way until about 6 months PP!

I went from "too nauseous for sex" to feeling like I had to pee every time. And I felt weird about sex while pregnant, can't explain why!. Our sex life wasn't great.

I think it was probably about the same if you averaged it out over the whole pregnancy... about once or twice a week. There were weeks where we didn't have any and weeks where it was more, but no major trends until the end - then we were going crazy trying to get the baby out! Since we'd used fertility awareness with periodic abstinence as birth control for years, it often felt like we were having more sex in pregnancy just because every day was an infertile day! No "blackout dates." But I never had a super horny month or anything.

My drive stayed about the same, but I was always too tired to. The further along I got, the less we did it because DH wasn't comfortable with the idea. Especially late in ther 3rd trimester since sex can induce labor. lol

It plummeted for me. I was miserable the entire pregnancy. I rallied here and there, but, overall, it wasn't happenin.

My drive stayed about the same (ability, did not & I don't just mean because of my size...) but from about 25 weeks to 35ish weeks, DH could not keep his hands off me. Like at all. & the compliments! I've never felt more beautiful and desired in my life!

@Mrs tartan: my poor DH was looking forward to that phase very much in pregnancy #1 and it never happened.

During my first pregnancy, we had sex EVERY SINGLE DAY. I was so horny and DH finds pregnancy attractive, so....match made in heaven? lol

I've noticed that as I've gotten more and more pregnant the frequency in which we have sex is getting lower and lower.

I'm only 13 weeks, but so far my sex drive has been a little higher than normal. Unfortunately I've been so tired that I haven't had the energy to do much about it!

I didn't vote, but even though I was sick I wanted sex all the time the first few months I just felt bso close to him, but he wanted nothing to do with it....lol he was scared since we had a long road getting PG
Now I think its the same and DH is getting over the scared factor, so it's pretty much back to normal!

I think I was more aroused, but it was in the form of having um, sexy dreams... I'm gonna be 20 weeks and we've done it less still b/c I'm tired/uncomfortable.

We had weeks where it was less due to my symptoms and weeks where it was more once I had energy back. Overall I think it averaged out to the same, but def came in diff waves!

First tri- basically nothing, I was sick all the time.
Second tri- lots, as I was way more easily turned on than normal.
Third tri- tapered of to like.... Once a week? Because my energy levels shot down and it got uncomfortable, until I hit the 38 week mark and now we have sex at least once a day becauseeeeee I'm ready to be done with being pregnant and hey, it can't hurt. -

My drive was non-existent but I had a large cyst discovered at 9 weeks, I was put on pelvic rest so sex was not an option anyway.

There was ONE week where I had some fun dreams which made me wake up ready to go for my husband. All other times were DONT TOUCH ME. Haha

Zero drive, my poor husband. He read in a book that sex drive sometimes goes up in the second tri, and he was hopefully for that, haha.

depended on the trimester! i wanna say yes to second tri. also toward the end, and postpartum, things happened..in my sleep. it was a little weird. nice, but...weird.

It was basically non-existent. I had wicked SI joint pain...so it rarely happened.
Until my due date...then I wanted that baby OUT...and sex is supposed to help.

I didn't ever notice a change. I was on pelvic rest the first tri and it was kind of ambiguous as to whether it was safe for us or not for a while after that so we didn't do it until late in the game. I didn't miss it in the beginning but I think just because I was totally distracted with baby stuff.

My drive definitely went up during the second trimester. I've always had a crazy libido though. One thing I did notice and this still makes me blush, was this huge infatuation I had gained with giving bj's! Needless to say my Dh never complained.

It's been pretty much on the go any time I'm not feeling nauseous or having migraines, especially now that I'm in the second trimester.

With my first there was no sex drive, with my second I had a super high libido though!

I never had the high libido some people get. Sigh.

Im 11 weeks and my sex drive is high but I'm just too tired. It feels amazing when we do though.
