Me! We got lucky and got it done on the first IUI plus Gonal-F injections. My 8-month-old twins are the result of that. It's a good, minimally-invasive way to help the sperm get past all the obstacles they would have to overcome naturally..good luck!

IUI#1 didn't work, but I'm hoping IUI#2 did! it helps your odds a little so I'd say do it unless you feel uncomfortable with more intervention. my RE thought it was worth doing because it might decrease the total amount of meds you take over time, since it gives you a slight boost.

my RE put it that with drugs to stimulate ovulation and IUI, you basically put your odds back to a normally fertile person or maybe a bit higher. which is why they'll usually want you to do at least 3 IUIs before talking about the next step.

Me! We got pregnant on our first IUI with 50 MG of Clomid. Our son is now four months old.

I got pregnant on our first IUI and second round of Clomid. I'm not sure whether or not the IUI helped since they also increased my dosage of Clomid that cycle as well, but it sure didn't hurt!

I got pregnant the first time with clomid +IUI but ended up being ectopic that required surgery.

I am now 16 weeks pregnant with the help of Follistim injections + IUI. It was our last IUI attempt before possibly moving on to IVF.

My first IUI didn't work but the 3rd did. My DS is almost 17 months. Good luck!
