    @buttermilk: YAY!! How many weeks are you? DH has been asking when he'll be able to feel movement and for the life of me, I cant remember when he started being able to with LO.

    @getjazzy: I am 18 weeks today! I think for the past week or so it's been more an issue of not being able to catch it. Or also for some reason when I put my hand on my belly I almost can't feel it even from within. Weird! But baby must be getting stronger bc we felt it for sure last night!

    Yesterday I had the stomach flu! At first I thought it was the return of morning sickness, but quickly figured out that was not the case. I must have had some extreme bloating going on the last two days, because today I woke up (feeling better) with a bump half the size of the one I had yesterday! I'm glad (??) I had plenty of maternal fat stores going into this pregnancy or I might be worried about the 5lbs I lost yesterday.

    @OhCaptain: Awww, yuck - glad you're feeling better today!

    We had our 18-week appointment today - everything looks good, and they confirmed via ultrasound that he's definitely a boy!

    I swear I will go crazy if I don't start feeling this baby kick!! I have felt a whole lotta "maybe?????" But nothing even remotely definite. I'm so ready for that sweet reassurance. I'm 16 weeks and change... I thought I would by now!

    @raspberries: so fun!! i still have a few weeks until mine, can't wait!

    Anybody else hungry all the time nowadays?? I am trying to stay on top of healthy snacks but I.am.always.hungry.

    I wish my due date was a bit more towards the middle of the month! I feel like I am behind everyone on the board (I'm due 8/28) but ahead of everyone on the Sept board!

    @kjpugs: Same here. I thiiiink maybe I felt something in the last day or two, but not really sure. And this isn't my first kid, so I feel like I would know!

    @LauraBear: Yes, my appetite has definitely increased! The scale only increased 1 pound all of the first trimester...then in the first week of 2nd tri, I'm up another. Ughh, gotta watch my weight! I gained way to much last pregnancy

    @LauraBear: There are some days when I never want to stop eating, and some days where I'm quite sure I'm not eating enough. I'm keeping a food journal now to make sure I'm eating just the right amount.

    @kjpugs: I hear you! I'm 18w3d and not feeling consistent movement yet. It's driving me crazy! Last time, I felt movement starting at 17 weeks and I could feel from the outside at 18 weeks AND I had an anterior placenta (I don't this time).

    @LauraBear: Yep, always hungry here too! I'm constantly eating at work, it's ridiculous!

    Yesterday, my kids at work finally realized I'm pregnant haha. I've mentioned it to them before, but they're 4 & 5, so they forgot after a couple days. I guess I've really started showing lately, because a couple of kids ran up to me and were like "ARE YOU HAVING ANOTHER BABY?!!" and proceeded to rub my belly.

    @lilteacherbee: Yes! So DH is going to be rather outnumbered now I'm excited that I've been right for both pregnancies now. We've been really struggling with girl names though but now we know to cancel out the boys names!

    @MrsStar: Haha I totally knew this one was a boy. Didn't really have a feeling either way the first time. And we had a whole list of girl names and really struggled with boy names this time, of course!

    This board has a ton of same sex siblings!! So exciting!

    I took a prenatal yoga class on Sunday for the first time. I liked it and didn't make myself look like an idiot since the only yoga I've done was with my wiI Fit.

    I feel internal movement intermittentlyrics but nothing external yet. I'm 19 weeks.

    @LauraBear: I have days where I want to eat everything I see! But then I have days when I am not hungry at all and I have to remind myself toneat for Baby. It is all balancing out so far!

    @kjpugs: I'm 17 weeks and a few days, and I'm still just having maybe movements. Nothing consistent.

    Lately, I feel like I just can't catch a break. I'm recovered from the UTI I had last week. But now, I seem to have aggravated an old back injury trying to learn how to sleep on my side. I can barely stand up and move around, so I have a chiropractor appointment later today. Plus, I went for my regular OB appointment Monday. Everything looks great, but they wanted me to make an appointment with my asthma doctor because my asthma has gotten a lot worse lately. So I'll be seeing her next week. If it's not one doctor, it's another...

    None of these things are directly pregnancy-related, but geez, this kid is killing me!

    @kjpugs: I haven't felt definite baby movement either, and I'm 18 weeks! I can't waaaaaaait!

    @lulibee: You've only gained 2lbs so far?! Yikes... I'm up around the 15lb mark already! Buuut now that it's finally starting to feel like spring, I'm hoping I can get back to exercising a little more to slow things down a bit.

    @krispi: Aww, sorry to hear that - hope things start looking up soon!

    @MrsStar: Congrats on the girl!!

    @krispi: Oh man, I'm sorry. Hang in there! My asthma has gotten worse in both of my pregnancies, too. My OB told me that during pregnancy 1/3 of women's asthma gets worse, 1/3 stays the same, and 1/3 actually gets better.

    @raspberries: Yeah, luckily only 2. I don't know how because I'm not eating that great. I think it's mostly because I was lifting weights before getting pregnant - so I'm probably losing muscle while gaining weight.

    But yeah, last pregnancy around this time I'd probably gained like 10 pounds already - I gained almost 50 total!

  40. OhCaptain

    @lulibee: I lost 12 lbs in my first trimester and I KNOW it was some of my hard win muscle mass.
