Backstory (if you want): 4 IUIs, 2 fresh IVF cycles, taking a long break from IF treatments to work on my physical and mental health (i.e. - lose weight and stop stressing)

I know the story of Moon Moon (and have posted lots of Moon Moon pics on here before) but when googling for a new one to post, I found this and nearly spit out my water! LOL!

Backstory (if you want): I'm of AMA (aka old ), having just turned 41, but very hopeful we'll get pregnant (again) soon. We got pg in April, but lost the pregnancy at 6w2d. We are going thru initial testing with an RE currently. Not really expecting/hoping not to find anything, but excited to know how we check out, & perhaps even to be "chaperoned" through by an RE for a cycle. So, in honor of all the NZ sheep DH & I will likely see as we travel there this month, here's my Moon Moon contribution:

I will be lurking and cheerleading for all of the ladies on this board. I am currently posting on the POAS board, but sometimes feel a little out of place. Hubby and I are only on Cycle #5 TTC our first, but I am starting Clomid this month, as I haven't been ovulating consistantly on my own for quite some time. Count me in to cheer you all on! Let the BFPs begin!

Mirena IUC removed in Feb.

Painful periods and pain around ovulation makes me worried about endometriosis. Had a diagnostic sono done in June that showed some adhesions around my appendectomy site that may be contributing to pain and may affect the "connectedness" of my right ovary. Also showed some possible markers of adenomyosis, but no obvious endo. Ultrasound is a lousy way to diagnose endo though, so, that doesn't really rule it out.

Taking mefenamic acid (rx), vitex, and going to acupuncture for pain management. One of them or some combination thereof is helping so I'm going to keep doing them all.

My OB is via Kaiser, which means they're very protocol bound in terms of what interventions they can offer for what reasons and on what timescale. Essentially, unless I start having significant pain exacerbations again, they won't do anything else unless I've been trying for a full calendar year.

Am hoping for success this cycle though! I'm on vacation and getting it on a lot despite minor altitude sickness.

@MrsMcD: Thank you for the invitation! I will wait to join until I POAS on Sunday. If we are still unsuccessful this time, I will likely start my first Clomid cycle shortly thereafter.

@MrsMcD: good luck on clomid! What dosage are you taking?

POAS date: If my cycle is back on track 9/26
Backstory (if you want): I had a never ending (109 day) cycle last cycle and I'm hoping that the Provera I took regulated my cycle again. If I end up with a megalong cycle again I will be referred to a RE to find out what's causing it.

I guess I'll update for this month while I'm posting over here

POAS date: Aug. 11 (or at least that's when I *should*. I probably won't make it through a weekend for a monday POAS day though)

Backstory (if you want): Diagnosed with PCOS in 2012. On 1500 mg Metformin ER and have regular cycles.

First BFP in December 2013 while NTNP. MC in late Jan/early Feb. Trying since then.

Currently chart BBT and monitor CM (but don't always chart it). Use cheapie OPKs and verify with digital. Occasionally use instead cups.

Plan to discuss next steps in NaPro approach with OBGYN at next annual in September.

@MrsMcD: I'm on the same dosage as you, do you have any side affects? I notice NO difference being on it, I don't know what good it's really doing...

@Marfi: I hope your cycle is back on track.

@MrsMcD: i was on it for 3 months when I got pregnant in January, I don't think it really had anything to do with my BFP, I think that was due to the hsg. After the mc in math,my doctor suggested I go back on it. This is my 4th cycle. I feel like a lot of women on HB say you can only be on it so long, I'm just following my drs advice, but am unsure if I will take it next month if we are lucky this month.
Is this your first month on it? Fingers crossed for us both!

@LindsayInNY: haha, yup. I went looking for moon moon photos and thought that was pretty fitting for all of us! And pretty hilarious, love that the father would be sun sun, haha! We need a little something to smile about every day

I just got home to a package of samples from Similac on my stoop. I'm REALLY hoping it's a sign of things to come and not just a nasty reminder of my MC.

I'm cheerleading!! Hope to see lots if BFPs over here!!
