Nope, they did a growth US for short fundal height at 37 weeks. LO was measured to be 7lbs 8oz. She was born at 40w5d and weighed 6lb 10oz. She should have been about 9lbs by then if she was the size they said at 37 weeks.

LO2 should come any day now. He measured 7lbs 6oz at 38 weeks.

LO was estimated to be 8 lbs + and she was 7 lbs even, and that was 41 weeks.

Not by ultrasound but my OB guessed correctly from just feeling my belly. Guessed 7 1/2 pounds at my 39 week appointment and was born a couple of days later weighing 7.7 pounds! I was impressed!

Yep. My midwife estimated (just by feeling, the u/s tech wouldn't guess) that she would be about 8lb if born on time, and +/- half a pound for every week she was early or late. She was born a week late at 8 lb 4oz.

Yep, with my oldest they estimated 5lbs 3 oz and she was 5 lbs 2 oz born the day after the ultrasound and my second they estimated to be 5lbs 2 oz at the ultrasound and she was born a week later at 5lbs 6oz.

Wee dude was estimated at 7.5lb at 35 weeks and was 9lb12oz at 40+5 so was pretty bang on.

I can't say from my own experience since I didn't have an ultrasound after 20 weeks but the weight estimate was higher than reality for all of my friends who had growth ultrasounds.

So I got a lot of grief from maternal fetal with my second pregnancy. I saw them frequently for GD, and they were concerned about the lower than average weight of LO2. So I had to see them even more frequently. I tried to explain that I'm petite and my first only weighed 5 lbs 13 oz at 38w + 4d. LO2 was born weighing 6 lbs, which is more than they estimated. His weight was never a concern at birth, and he continues to be a pretty small guy just like his older brother.

Ours were very accurate - they estimated my first son wold be a bit over 8 pounds and he was 8lb 2oz.

My second they delivered early because I had gestational diabetes, and at 38 weeks they said it looked like he was already a bit bigger than his brother was at 40 weeks...and they were right, he was 4oz heavier!

They way overestimated with both. They told me 9+ pounds with the first (I was so freaked out!) and he wasn't quite 7. I laughed when they told me the same the second time, he was just over 7 lbs.

My first LO was way off. But that was based on the ultrasound at 20 something weeks. They guessed at that point a 7-8lbs baby and he ended up at 9.8lbs. This time we've had several ultrasounds and each time he is consistently measuring a week ahead just like his brother probably was. So we are inducing but I will be 39 weeks at induction and I'm already dilated to 3 cm. So it shouldn't be a problem if it's off.

Midwife guessed just by feeling around my belly that DD would be between 7-7.5 lbs and she was 7lbs4oz. I didn't have an ultrasound past 18 weeks.

nope. they guessed my first to be measuring small (she was chubby - just curled in a ball). my second they estimated to be bigger and she was a PEANUT! barely six lbs!

No, although they didn't do any official measurements past 20 weeks. OB and midwife kept telling me he would be normal size, 7 1/2 lbs. He was born at 41 weeks and was 9lb 2oz and 22 " long....and I am only 5'3"...

For my son they told me around 6lbs and he was born at 8lbs 8 ozs so way off. For my daughter they said 7 lbs 11ozs she was 7lbs 14 ozs so almost dead on. So weird!

No. It had her weighing about 7 lbs. She was just shy of 9 lbs.
