@mrskc: @swurlygurl: @Mrs. M: same! my water broke in the middle of the night last time, and so everytime i feel the slightest "gush" i wake up and think my waters breaking. alas its just leaked pee (sorry tmi haha). but yeah i am sooo anxious this time around.
i had my first weekly nst/fluid check yesterday. everything looked good, no contractions during the nst tho. booo. all i know is baby is very low. i go in for my weekly on friday so i'm gonna try to get a cervical check just to see if i'm dilated at all!

@mrskc: Thank you! At this point I'm so used to it I feel like it's normal. I joke that this little guy wants to ensure he is the youngest child....it's worked because I don't think I could do it all again!
@kodybear: Yup, every night I wake up looking for bloody show. If that doesn't start things off this time I'll be clueless. My water also broke on its own (hours later) but I'll take that too since I know what it means!
I've had labor dreams every night for the past few days. I wake up to use the restroom thinking it's time and then realize I was dreaming. So disappointing!

@Mrs. M: sadly, no. Not for the last week so.
@msmug: it kinda feels like something is bearing down on your vagina. If that makes sense?

@Mrs.Someone: Wow, awesome! I keep telling DH that baby can come anytime after this weekend, because by then I'll have everything ready.

@swurlygurl: @mrskc: I was pretty surprised to see the news this morning! Sounds like it was an accidental home birth too . I don't have the full story yet though.

Wow, more news... A cousin that was due on 8/20 had her baby yesterday! This is getting real... (Neither of these we're first kids though).

Just got back from an appointment.. Dr says I'm 1 cm dilated and about 50% effaced. I dont know what that means, since I"ve been preparing for my scheduled c section but she assured me that everything was going well. LOL
In other early delivery news.. I had a coworker preg with twins due about 10 days before me, and a friend also preg with twins due a week after me. BOTH delivered in mid-late July... so it's just me (of the twin mamas that I know) who's still cooking their babies! Nutty! DH finally believed me when I said they could come any minute when my friend due after me delivered her twins.

My friend delivered yesterday at 39 weeks and she was a FTM!
I got to hold her sweet little boy this morning and I forgot about all the little coos!

Wow, so many of you have friends with LOs born close to yours. That'll be so fun
Still no progress on my end. I've got a Dr.s appointment tomorrow morning (39w6) so hopefully I'll have more to report then. For a while I was so ready for baby to be here, but I'm glad he has stayed put now. This week has been hellacious and I don't know what I would have done if I had all this drama competing for my attention with a new baby. Thankfully I expect it to be wrapped up this evening. Now I just need DH to get over his cold and I'll be ready...

Another 2 hour Dr. ordeal - I should just learn to accept this for the rest of the pregnancy
I got a surprise internal check! Haha. I was prepped to be checked for GBS, and *surprise*! Thankfully it didn't hurt this time. But, 0% progress on dilation or effacement. Good, stay in there baby!
Buuuut, I'm measuring a little big so I get a sonogram next week! YAYYYYYY
(This sounds like I have a horrible Dr., but she's actually awesome and I love her, I just like to complain apparently)

@Aandmklover: Congratulations! Glad you and baby boy are doing well
I've been having painful period cramp-like contractions pretty regularly since 10pm last night. But they haven't set up any pattern and certainly havent gotten "longer, stronger, and closer together". I have a Dr's appt in an hour so hopefully I'll have a better understanding soon.

@JennyPenny: GL! That's how my labor started! Period like cramps started Tuesday morning then by late Friday night I was in full labor!

Well the doctor doesn't think I'm in labor I am 2cm dilated and 50% effaced though so she doesn't think Ill make it to my next appointment. I guess I'm heading in to work now... I so thought I wouldn't be.

@JennyPenny: Say what?! Are you still having the contractions? Hopefully they start picking up soon - I can imagine that it would SUCK to go to work after thinking you were having your baby
