Keep at it snowjewelz. I'm surprised they didn't proceed with the section. Are you on pitocin at this point? Unfortunately, the heart rate issue is common with pitocin. I'm hoping healthy labor thoughts for you.

@snowjewelz: we had a similar scare with babies heart rate, went from 1 nurse to Dr and several nurses in 20 seconds and me on my back being told to push! Luckily his heartbeat was fine when on my back, but I know how terrifying that must have been!!

@snowjewelz: SO scary-had the same thing happen throughout my long labor (His HR was often below 120 and then at one point below 80 BPM), and labor stalled so we did the c-section. SO hoping it doesn't happen again for you...thoughts and prayers your way.... -

I can't wait to recap my long and slightly dramatic birth story for you guys later. I will be keeping it real once I have a moment to reflect in all of it.
We are all doing well; kinda scared of hurting down there since I tore and got stitched up, also anxious about how BF is gonna go. I'll leave all this for the pp thread.

Kara Grace was born at 10:56pm on Thurs 12/4. She weighs in at 6lbs 4oz (smaller than last ultrasound estimate) and is 19 inches.
I'm so exhausted this is the only pic of her so far!
