@whenoceansrise: They're def all going through something! Kara had been STTN AND putting herself to sleep, and last few nights I needed to hold her, and last night she was up a few times too and difficult to go back to sleep! Hang in there!

Daycare went well! She drank her milk, but wouldn't eat her lunch? Probably b/c it was a new place, or she was too distracted... I think I need to tell her to feed her if she won't eat herself.
She napped for 30 min being held, I'm surprised she actually slept haha.

@MamaG: Yeah - it's obviously hard for the older sibs. She's being so territorial it's crazy. She's even screaming at him over baby toys (activity table, etc). Obviously they used to be hers, but now that J wants them she wants them too. Ugh.
@Adira: I'm sure them getting older will bring its own challenges, but I'm just looking forward to J being old enough to defend themselves so they can do a little bit of working it out themselves.
@winniebee: Go R!

@KayKay: That's so strange! M didn't walk until 16 months. I'm pretty sure it's not even considered late until 18 months. I'm always surprised when kids are walking before a year.

@snowjewelz: Glad daycare went well!
@whenoceansrise: Yuck, that's hard! Hope he goes back to STTN!
I can't decide what I want to do for M's birthday. Originally I was thinking Elmo, but he also loves Mickey Mouse....such decisions! (doesn't help that I found cute 1st birthday Mickey clothes on Etsy lol)
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@AngelicOne: Haha tough choice! Personally I like Mickey, b/c I feel like Elmo theme would just be so... red?!

@whenoceansrise: ugh! i'm sorry M's sleep is sucking lately. i feel like it's even worse when they were STTN, since you now know that they can/will do it! hang in there, mama. at least you have an adorable birthday invite your DH is so talented!
@mrsf: i know, right? but it's not even like he was saying it like he would be concerned if she wasn't walking by a year. it was like he was trying to reassure me....despite me not being one bit worried.

@angelicone: the only benefit to elmo is that i feel like they grow out of elmo sooner. so you could always use mickey next year
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@KayKay: @whenoceansrise: totally agree it's worse after STTN! Before, I had no expectations, and now if she has an off night I'm like ?!?! Now I don't go to bed early so I def don't sleep enough if she wakes up!

@whenoceansrise: Very cute invite! Sorry about the crappy sleep. I had an oh-no moment last night when E was up at 12 and 1, but that was it for the night. I hope it gets better for you soon!

We all have colds so I had to respond to night wakings at 230 and 530 last night. I'm 35 too old for this crap 10 months in!!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@winniebee: awww boooo!
Maybe the germs were the cause of the blow outs

I've been up since 4!

@BandDmommy: @winniebee: well little miss went back to bed ..I had to wake her at 7:30 after our pee clean up I on the other hand could not and DH wakes for work at 5 soo yep up since 4

@faithfertility: ack! glad she fell back asleep though!
@winnibee: the worst.

@FaithFertility: Ouch, that's early. DH set his alarm for 5 a.m. and slept through it. Normally he leaves for work around 5:30 a.m. to beat traffic but after working till 10 p.m. last night he was too tired. It's slightly thrown off our day, I normally drop off B at preschool and DH picks up. This morning, DH dropped B off at preschool, so D and I will have to wander out to pick up B from preschool. I try to get there by 5 p.m., otherwise I sit in rush hour traffic. Got to love DC traffic!!!

@FaithFertility: Oh no to the leaky diaper. We've had a few of those this past week, I'm thinking we might have to move up a size for night-time diapers though. can't blame DH :).
And sorry you couldn't go back to sleep! Hopefully you're not too tired today!
@winniebee: Sorry.
@BandDmommy: DC traffic... its crazy to think about how different it is for all of us in our different places of the country. Bad traffic for me is getting stuck behind a tractor! Hopefully you can miss the rush-hour traffic.
So since the NFL shirt is no longer available I decided to create my own and LOVE it, so blessing in disguise. Since we're watching Big Ten football (not NFL) I came up with this (front/back)... now to get to work on the invite!

@josina: hahaha. It can take my husband two hours to get to work. It's bad.. But if he leaves early 40 mins

You guys and your party planning.....I have a date......that is all....!
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@BandDmommy: @Adira: Thanks! I plan to DIY it with the freezer-paper 'screen' like I did the other onesies, it should be pretty simple, and cheap!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: hahah! oh man I am sorry!
@winniebee: I hope it's over soon! Send Ryan to daycare? Haha. Kara was sooo tired last night she slept from 7:10-6:40!
@josina: that is SO cute!
