Backstory:We started trying for our first baby this past June. I didn't think it would take so long since all my friends got pregnant their first month trying. Well I was wrong about that . I have a regular cycle and according to my OPK's, I ovulate every month. I had an ultrasound last month and she said everything looked good, except she said I have a few cycsts on my right ovary. She said that it was nothing to be concerned about, but now im wondering if I have PCOS. Anyways, we did get pregnant in August (our 3rd cycle), but that ended in an early miscarriage. We are now on our 4th cycle since our miscarriage and I am started to get very discouraged. We used Preseed this cycle (which is what we used when we got pregnant) so I'm hoping we can get a BFP for the holidays!

How do you celebrate the holiday season?: Family parties, work parties, and friend parties

I am going to be a cheerleader this month since I don't know when AF is showing therefore no POAS date

In terms of the holiday season I am looking forward to Chanukah celebrations with my side and no Christmas celebrations with anyone on the other side except my MIL + her BF lol

I didn't struggle with gifts at all this year, luckily. I made my list and started shopping early, so was done the second week of November.

POAS date (if any): should be around Christmas, but I am rarely late. I don't have a POAS date- it stresses me out.

Backstory: normal cycles, charts show O, normal labs, normal SA. If I am not pregnant by early next year, we will do an HSG. My stress level has been off the charts for the first year of TTC and is finally starting to slow down some, so I hope it's just stress.

Plan for this cycle: this is my third cycle on the Making Babies plan (a great book, awesome reviews, where eastern medicine and western medicine are integrated). I am trying to eat healthy, exercise but not strenuously, and a number of herbs. The book mentioned a disorder called LUFS where the follicle doesn't rupture to release the egg, but the follicle continues to release progesterone. It is very hard to diagnose, but I am trying an herb for that- last cycle was my first time trying it. I am trying to remind myself that these things take time. I am going to work on getting enough sleep, breathing exercises, meditation, and self-fertility massage.

How do you celebrate the holiday season?: it varies. This year we will road-trip to visit FIL.

Who do you most struggle to find a gift for?: my Dad. We try to minimize clutter and stress as much as possible, so we have a very short gift list, and then do a charitable donation.

CD: 7. Cycles usually tend to be around 30-32 days long.
POAS date (if any): I think if I don't start spotting around Dec 23 (I typically spot for 2 days before starting my period), I will take my chances and POAS. I just bought some cheapie HPTs on Amazon so let the POAS-ing begin
Backstory: trying for #2. Our first was pretty easy - I think we conceived after 4 cycles (but 2 cycles we had bad timing). Figured a second would be just as quick... How wrong we are. We are quickly approaching the one year mark and we are both starting to feel very sad and discouraged. Our daughter is turning 3 in Feb and we really wanted a 3 year age gap. Sigh. Not sure what's wrong - we have been timing it perfectly every single month.
Plan for this cycle: OPKs (both Cheapies and Clearblue Digi Advanced), and BD-ing every single day once I start to see EWCM. Also thinking about starting Chinese herbs...
How do you celebrate the holiday season?: I have so much holiday spirit! LO is too young but when she's a little older I plan on taking her to watch the nutcracker and the grinch. We have our tree up already. I love Christmas time!
Who do you most struggle to find a gift for?: my whole fam! Everyone buys what they want when they want it

@Bea: good luck with your hsg! I had one a few weeks ago, it's definitely not fun, but it's not awful.

My LP is usually 12-13 days.

@babycanuck: wow! I can't believe you are done already! I hope AF arrives quickly so you can move on to the next cycle.

@AmeliaBedilia: what is self fertility massage? I really hope less stress will be the key for you! How is the new Job going?

@pinkcupcake: I'm sad were all still here! I hope you get your BFP this month... It's frustrating when you know you are timing it perfectly and it's still not happening.

@Crystal: This one is to make sure the surgeon got most, if not all, of the septum and can TTC again.

And I just had some spotting. I guess I'm out. It's odd that I can be so sad, while also being so unsurprised. Is anyone else loosing faith that this will ever happen?

I'm trying to decide if I can just BD with my husband EOD and not temp or use OPKs, or if I'm too type-A to handle all of that unknown.

I'm starting to seriously wonder if it's a P issue, or if I am grasping at straws hoping for an easy fix.

@Crystal: Take a break from the opks and stuff. Just enjoy some time, I had do to that for a few months, it was so nice and I'm just like you (type A)

POAS dates: POAS date of 12/17
Backstory: We have a DD already and it took us about a year to conceive her. Both me and DH have been tested, with everything coming back normal. Our timing has been pretty good, so no idea why we aren't getting pregnant. For this cycle, I started my second cycle of Letrozole/Femara. Going to do green tea again, various vitamins: B6, B12, C, D, prenatal, mucinex. I haven't been temping, but might possibly do that. and definitely OPK and timed intercourse. Last Thursday, I went to an acupuncturist for the first time ever and it was so relaxing! I have a feeling that is part of my issue - being too stressed out. She specializes in fertility, so I figured that it doesn't hurt to try it for a few months. I go again on Thursday morning! I do get a blood test a few days after suspected ovulation to confirm and had my thyroid tested last week, which came back normal. Also, going to try to be as hopeful as I can during this holiday season and wish for the best present that I could get.

How do you celebrate the holiday season?: We rotate which parents we will spent Christmas with and will be at my in-laws this year.
Who do you most struggle to find a gift for?: My dad - he has everything and any ideas he does give me aren't very fun!

Backstory: 11 months TTC #1. I'm 27, Low AMH, but everything else is normal. Husband is normal. Had an HSG this cycle.
Plan for this cycle: trying to wait to test until period is due on December 3
How do you celebrate the holiday season?: Lots of family time and loads of football watching.
Who do you most struggle to find a gift for?: Stereotypical but my husband.

@AmeliaBedilia: Thanks for mentioning LUFS. I'm going to have to do some more research on that. I get massive cyclical cysts (5-6 mm) and my doctors think I'm ovulating normally because I have regular cycles. but I wonder if maybe the cysts are unruptured follicles?

@Crystal: Major hugs for your friend. I'm sure you know that I've given up all hope at a few times too. Because of my underlying issues I can't give up temping, but maybe you can step back from the OPKs to take it a little easier? You know my fingers are crossed so hard for you! Do you have any doctor's appointments coming up?

@Bea: I don't know anything about HSG, but wishing you good luck
