As of this month I officially have 10 years worth of dental surgeries/procedures under my belt. Braces, bone graphs, implants, crowns, caps, gum removal, you name it.

Now, here we are on the very last tooth that needs work (THE LAST ONE!) and of course, I finally get pregnant.

I have an appointment next week and I will be 8 weeks + 5 days. I'm almost positive they will need to do an x-ray, and I know for sure they need to numb me because they are removing ~half of the enamel on one tooth. I cannot put this surgery off because the longer I wait, the more the space will close and then they will have to shave off more enamel which is guaranteed miserable sensitivity for the rest of my life. I'm in the home stretch and feel so helpless now!

What would you do? I haven't told them i'm KU yet because up until next week they aren't doing anything that they would need to know for.

I just want this last effing tooth to be done with!

So,
would you take the x-ray?
is there a safe way to be numbed?
what do I do about pain afterwards? (usually they give Codeine)
