I had a huge egg aversion at first with DD, but I got over it and probably had eggs for bfast 2-3 times a week. I'm almost 6 weeks pregnant, and have yet to have the egg aversion. As long as eggs are fully cooked through, I think they're fine.

No, only because I had a huge chicken and egg aversion. I LIIIIIIIIVE off eggs, I was so sad that even the thought of them made my mouth water

@sandy: I would love to know if there is an actual old wives tale about that! I couldn't STAND eggs in my first trimester. The smell, the look (especially of scrambled eggs). It made me gag to even think about them! Like you, it went away in the second trimester for the most part.

My midwife actually just told me to try to eat more eggs for protein so since me ad meat don't mix, I can see not eating them sunny side up or over easy.......maybe to avoid Salmonellabut? But that is just a guess!
