@lamariniere: We moved last January, but I did live in Paris for 13 years before that. My DH is also French. DD and I both have dual citizenship.

@mrsjyw: Ha. I've never noticed. My husband & I go to coffee shops alllll the time. I've even ordered a hard cider (well, a small-ish sample) at a bar, and didn't even think about other people judging me.
I have friends who have been confronted about ordering coffee, and baristas that refuse to serve them caffeine!!

DH and I had a long engagement and had planned on getting married last September. But when we found out I was pregnant and LO's due date was for August, we decided to move it up to April. So I was about 6 months at my wedding. I had a glass of wine and one of our friends would not.shut.up. about how horrible it was and then I flipped out on him. It was awkward.

Oh, and my mother completely freaked out when I posted on FB that I wanted to go roller blading when I was like 14 weeks.

I did once... I was 30 weeks and walking down the street alone one evening with 2 huge starbucks cups (whatever the biggest size is called!). they were just hot chocolate though, and one was for DH.
i was waiting at a crosswalk and this one hipster dude was giving me the stinkest stinkeye i've ever seen! lucky i've got an epic BRF (especially at 30 weeks pregnant!!) so he didn't actually say anything, but he looked like he wanted to!!

Same story as most of you.... I rarely drink coffee and was at a shop with my friend and ordered a cafe mocha. She said "decaf" and I said "no, regular, I don't get to drink coffee often, I want the real thing" she said something back and I told her my doc said I "could reduce to one cup of coffee a day."
