I did. I was a dance teacher. I actually made quite a bit of money and had zero expenses in my life. In some ways I wish my mom would have made me save my money, because I spent it all at the mall. Now I buy only like 2 shirts per season, and they are usually the ones on sale at walmart. I look back on the days when I would drop $100 on a shirt every week and shake my head.

I worked summers since I was 15. I walked dogs until I turned 16 and could start lifeguarding. That was the best gig ever!! I also worked at Walmart on weekends during the school year.

I worked at The Gap as soon as I turned 16 throughout high school! I thought I had the coolest job ever!

Omg I've haa so many jobs, I started at 14 waitressing, and cashier at a grocery store, then I got a third job at a pet store. When the grocery store closed I started tutoring and teaching horse riding lessons. I also had a gig one summer as a tour guide ona horse and bug historical tour through my hometown. My parents always made us work, it was never a choice.

At 14 I worked at a local wilderness zoo for a season, then at 15 I got a job at a local small-town hardware store. I loved the Hardware Store. I worked there all through high school and on breaks from college.
We didn't have a choice about getting jobs, from 12 on you had to work. (paper route or babysitting) then at 14 you had to get your work permit and a part-time job. All 3 of us kids paid for our own college.
