At 26 wks, I started tri-weekly appointments - go every 3 weeks until the last month, then I go every 10 days, I think. I'm not sure if at the *very* end it's more frequent or not.

I think appts. every 2-3 weeks in the last trimester is fairly normal, though.

My doctor has the same schedule. Every 2 weeks starting around 28 weeks I think... and then every week starting at 36. I'm going to my last of the 2-week appointments today, and from here on out will be every week. The appointments are still pretty routine, but I think they just want to monitor you more frequently now that the baby is viable, but certain risk factors start going up (like pre-E, etc.). Starting next week it sounds like the appointments will start getting more involved with internal exams. Eek!

Wow, I don't start every 2 week appointments until 32 weeks! Then, at 36 it's every week.

after i was released from my RE, i've seen my OB at least every two weeks beginning at 8 weeks. then i will see him every week for non-stress tests beginning at 32 weeks. i'm having twins which might explain the frequency of my appointments.

I was going monthly until 32 weeks, then every two weeks, and now every week. Being a teacher, my insurance is so great, though, so I never have a copay.

Our schedule was pretty similar, I think it was 28 weeks though, & then at the end, 36 weeks, we went every week.

That's what my doctor had me do too. Luckily I wasn't working so it wasn't a big deal.
