I don't think mine ever dropped. Water broke at 39 weeks

towards the end my MIL would comment "your belly is looking lower" but i never could tell a difference, and honestly i think it was just wishful thinking on her part. i went into labor at 41 weeks.

I said right before because I have a picture if me on my due date and my belly was still high. I took a picture 3 days later, while in the beginning stages of labor and it was so low that it looked very bizarre!

Mine was always low, so there was no "dropping" for me.

I carried low but my belly still dropped and then it felt like I was walking about with my baby falling out LOL but it was about a week or so before labor.

Never dropped. Water broke at 39 weeks, didn't have contractions for 14 hours. She was realllyyyy high once I did start contractions, so the Doctor wanted me to let her drop on her own before I started pushing (so I didn't wear myself out)

I carried high, dropped around week 36, then dropped even lower around week 38. My dr commented that I had so much space under my bra band

Oh I am so curious about this. I get comments all the time (38W) and everyone says "Oh, you still haven't dropped!". Thanks.. thanks a lot. haha!

Does this have anything to do with what "station" the baby is in? You know like - 3 or 2, or whatever? I think my midwife gauged that at our last appointment, but I don't remember if there is a correlation.
