DH has only missed 2 appointments! My midwife is close to his work so it's easy for him

With my first pregnancy he did not come and I found out we were having twins. Next pregnancy he came.

@Mrs. Train: whoa, that must have been surreal to have to tell him after!

@mrs. bird: yeah I called him at work but he has bad reception do he had gone out to the roof. The first thing he said was wow you shouldn't tell a man on the roof that he is going to have three kids under a year. I probably should have come up with a better way of telling him but I just blurted it out.

He went to every one! When we weren't doing ultrasounds, I'd tell him he didn't have to come but he insisted. He always said he felt like the one appt he didn't go to would be the one where there was a problem.

He went to all except one around 28 weeks.

He has only come to one so far. It was supposed to be when we'd first hear the heartbeat, but heartbeat wasn't ready to be heard! He came to the follow-up ultrasound though and he'll come to the anomaly scan ultrasound.
Btw, you totally had me excited when I saw you post this. Seriously, you should have seen my face, you would have laughed.

No. He came when he didn't have work (not a m-f job) but skipped when he had work. I think he adjusted his work schedule once but it was hard at the time. He made 2 of 4 US appts.

DH has come to all 4 u/s but doesn't come with me to my monthly doctor appointment. Nothing really happens at theses other than listening to heart beat. He will come in July and August when he isn't working and closer to due date. I was happy we could get late afternoon u/s appointments.

DH went to the first and second appointments, but now he only goes to the important ones. When we get closer to my due date, we will go together.

He came to all except the glucose screening that was super long and boring, which I did solo. He even came to my 6 week pp check up! We had fun waiting for the doc together and hanging out!
