I took them weekly from 7 weeks. I thought it was silly to start at 4 weeks cause there wasn't a bump but i kind of wish i did! there are subtle changes, fun to look back on.
plus, i had the belly book, which has a spot for a photo for each week

I have one from our (early) babymoon at 13 weeks...and just took one this week at 18 weeks, lol. I don't think I'll regret not having weekly photos.

I took belly pictures with whatever fruit "What to Expect" said the baby was the size of. It is SO fun to look at those pictures! With my second pregnancy we have almost none of me pregnant, I kind of regret that.

I took a pic every 4 weeks with both pregnancies. I get to look back at how huge I got, lol.

Check out the app Cinemama, its by the march of dimes, free too! it has a reminder on it, and a guide to help you line everything up so your pictures are similar crop.
For me with Baby #1, I just took selfies every week starting about 14 weeks. And it was awesome to put it all in one collage and see. This time baby 2.0 is brand new, I will take one pic a week again. Probably using cinemama and just the regular selfies like last time too.

@MamaBehr: I have the What to Expect app, and I thought it was so cute when baby was the size of a poppy seed, apple seed, etc. Now that baby is the size of a canteloupe I'm scared! haha!

@grizz this is what it looks like with a watermelon. I think this was the only watermelon we could find because it was up north in February....
And, I stop smiling in the pictures as the pregnancy progressed hahahaaha

I took about 8 while pregnant. I tried to do weekly ones but could never remember. I love looking at the photos and remembering what it was like.

I kept a pregnancy journal and then made a photo book out of my journal entries and photos. I didn't always have belly photos for every week, but since I usually am snapping something with my phone, I had lots of photos even if they weren't belly photos. I did do a huge layout featuring all my belly photos in one place and it is fun to look at the progression. I also had a friend who is a pro photographer take some "artsy" maternity photos. I love how my book turned out. I wanted to remember everything about being pregnant!

I took none and I regret it. I wish I had taken a couple at least, once a month would have been nice, though.

I didn't! I have a few pics from when I was pregnant but not regular ones.

My favorite maternity series was by Ryan of Pacing the Panic Room ... It seems that he's made all of the posts private. Bummer! I also love this one by Bluebird: http://bleubirdvintage.typepad.com/blog/maternity-series/ We'll do something similar with photos of the both of us together each week. We're photographers though, so to not document would be a crime!!

I didn't start until I was about 25 weeks along and I wish I had started sooner.

With my first I only have two photos and I am still so sad about that (and it was eleven years ago). With my second I made sure to take weekly photos after 9 weeks I think, nothing fancy just self-photos in the bathroom mirror. I'm doing the same thing this time around but it's harder because LO cracked my phone which has my babybump app and reminder and a better camera. These are all coming out blurry

I am doing weekly shots but didn't start til week 18. I wish I had started right away. My DH takes them every Sunday and he's pretty good at remembering.
