I don't!

No but I don't mind dressing DD1&2 in DS's old clothes (I actually bought him a lot of light yellow, gray and light blue clothes until he was older so they don't look entirely boyish).
They'll be wearing his old NFL gear tomorrow for game day

Some, and I buy a lot of neutral colours that could go either way. But I do buy a lot of cute girl dresses too - but more classic styles than super girly ones.

No...but I should because I think boys pants might fit my short chubber better than girls!

@HLK208: I get LO NFL gear that is gender neutral (not the pink girl jersey) too I think it looks sporty and cute!

Just sweatpants and sweatshirts. I feel like the boys options are so much more comfy than the girls options!

i did when she was an infant. now i buy more from the girls section due to the fit on toddler clothes.

Some stuff I buy gender neutral. But now that I know #2 is also a girl I'm more willing to buy gender specific stuff.

Nope, never. I have a bunch of gender neutral stuff, but no girl stuff!

So far the only girls item I've bought is some jeggings from Old Navy. They are soooo much softer than any boy jean option and on my skinny guy they're not too tight. Denim just seems so stiff for a 3 month old.

I'm not opposed to the idea, but I never have. Girls stuff is usually super duper girly, and C is very chunky so I doubt girl cuts would work for him.

We were team green both times (both girls!) so we ended up with a mixed bag. Some people went with greens/yellows, but we had a few who have us both girl and boy outfits. I like the mix and they wear opposite gender stuff pretty often.

Yes, my last Carters order was mostly boys tops. Pink does nothing for LO and I just found out I'm getting a nephew.
papaya / 10473 posts
No, but I've put aside a few of DS's things that are gender neutral in case we ever decide to have another.
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22646 posts
I don't usually, but I did buy a pair of Zara skinny jeans (girl) that fit DS so really well last fall!

She does have a boy shirt she loves (Elmo)...and a "boy" hockey zip up, which I think it being sports themed can go either way.
cantaloupe / 6164 posts
Nope, no boy clothes. She does have a little NFL jersey, but it's gender neutral.

@oliviaoblivia: !!! I didn't know that!! congrats on another little girl!
I have bought girls' pants before because they fit better.
pomegranate / 3872 posts
Nope. I think I bought her a boys denim shirt at h & m once. I certainly don't always dress her in pink and ruffles but I prefer girls clothes for the fit and style.

Yep. He has jegging shorts (omg jorts ) that have gotten soooo many compliments. My DH and I both wear fitted clothes, I can't imagine putting my baby into baggy clothes. In general soft leggings/jeans from the girls section looks better on him, but no one can tell what side of the aisle they're from. If I have a girl one day, she can wear all his clothes too.

We have always bought boy clothes for LO and a very few gender natural stuff. That being said if LO #2 ends up being a girl we will probably still reuse some of his old clothes that are not blatantly obviously boy clothes and of course buy her some girly clothes to round it out.
honeydew / 7687 posts
Yep he has girls shorts & pants. I don't think I've ever seen a girl's shirt that wasn't plastered with ruffles and/or glitter -- if #2 is a girl she won't be wearing that until she's old enough to voice a preference!
I've heard twice in the past 2 days a parent chiding their child for wanting a piece of clothing from the opposite gender and section, both directions (girl to boy, boy to girl). Absolutely drives me freaking nuts. As does someone asking on IG shops "is this girls or boys?? I want it if its X".

My kids wear the same size so yes, Alice wears a lot of "boy" onesies (although most are gender neutral in my opinion). I don't ever put Blake in the girl stuff, except for swaddles. He's in a pretty girly one right now, but I just grab whatever's clean!
pomelo / 5820 posts
He has pants that I made him out of women's fabric. They're gender neutral, though apparently a former coworker of mine didn't think so! (shoutout to @scg00387: and @photojane: for having my back on that )

@Pepper: haaaa! I didn't speak my true mind since it wasn't my picture but hopefully she felt properly rebuffed (who SAYS that anyways?! why! )
hostess / wonderful watermelon / 39513 posts
I guess some NFL stuff?
@Pepper: I just saw that! :-o
nectarine / 2973 posts
Nope, never. I haven't really seen any boy clothes that I like for her.
blogger / pomegranate / 3300 posts
I don't think I ever bought girl clothes for the boys but I have bought Lilly some boys clothes. She really wanted a batman dress so I bought a boys t shirt and sewed a skirt on it.

We didn't know what her sex would be until she was born, so everything we had was pretty gender-neutral, although some of it was technically for boys.
bananas / 9357 posts
No, I've never bought DS any girl clothes. I've saved some of his stuff for little sister to wear tho.
@Pepper: yeah, I thought that comment was weird on IG!
grapefruit / 4997 posts
I have gender neutral newborn outfits saved for future babies and NFL shirts and onesies too.
