My friend at work said that she could be pregnant over and over again, but can't handle more babies. Do you miss pregnancy? Was it "easy" for you? Did you feel beautiful? (All reasons my friend stated pregnancy was amazing for her!)

Nope. Pregnancy was pretty awful for me. I don't know if it was because I had twins or if no matter what pregnancy doesn't agree with me...either way, I don't wish to be pregnant again.

Nope!
I'm eight days out and am so happy to not be pregnant for the first time in 21 months it feels like.
I do generally like being pregnant and have easy pregnancies but mama needs a rest!

Sometimes, if i could be pregnant (like 25 weeks along) for a week i would be happy. But 1st and 3rd nope...no way. I like to look pregnant but not huge, and i like to be able to sleep through the night (when my kids let me!)

It's not over yet, but I was just telling a friend how much I love it and will miss it. Funny enough our waitress was due 2 days before me and can't wait for it to be over.

I would do the 2nd trimester over again I loved every minute of my first pregnancy, but I was SO uncomfortable during my 2nd that I just couldn't do it again.

Not in the slightest. I don't miss it all but my second pregnancy was much easier and flew by relatively speaking.

I thought I missed it until I got pregnant again. Now I remember why I hated the first 20 weeks.

The first time I missed it, this time I don't think I will - I cannot wait for it to be over!

26 weeks now, ready for it to be over. Being pregnant is NOT my favorite. I already feel huge and I know I'm only going to get bigger. And more uncomfortable.
cantaloupe / 6791 posts
Yes! I really do. We want a third, but LO2 is only 5 months, so it'll be at least until the end of the year. I wouldn't mind being pregnant again, but I'm sooo not ready for 3 kids just yet!!
pomegranate / 3904 posts
I miss it and can't wait to do it again! I didn't have morning sickness with either of my kids, and love having a bump I also love what a cool experience it it growing a little person!
pomelo / 5573 posts
After my first pregnancy I missed it - I missed feeling like it was just him and me, and feeling him kick. This time I might still miss the kicking, it's such a sweet cozy feeling, but otherwise I don't see myself feeling nostalgia about pregnancy at all.
pomelo / 5607 posts
All the time. We're considering having another and I'm having a hard time telling if that's really what I want or if I just want to be pregnant again. Not the best reason to have another baby!
pomelo / 5220 posts
Hmm... not the first trimester, maybe the second trimester when I could feel kicks and was more energetic. LO came at 34 weeks so I never got too huge so I can't say how third trimester would be. This next time I will probably just be a nervous wreck since I went so early last time

Currently 31 weeks into my second pregnancy. I can safely say that I do NOT enjoy pregnancy. The only thing I like (kinda) is that having a big round belly is considered beautiful when pregnant!
cantaloupe / 6692 posts
YES! Pregnancy wasn't "easy" but I just loved all the excitement and I did feel more beautiful pregnant than I do now. Lol
Trying for #2 and I just can't wait to be big and pregnant again.

I am 27 weeks pregnant and OVER.IT! I can't wait to never be pregnant again.

Nope, especially not after the last one. I was miserable and had terrible sciatic and hip pains. I could barely walk some days. And it was a stressful pregnancy...early bleeding and an unusual placenta so I was constantly monitored...I was actually over the ultrasounds by the end....

Yes! 23 weeks pregnant I know I'll miss it; morning sickness, insomnia, heartburn, sacro-ileac joint pain and all! It hasn't been easy but every symptom reminded me that I was making a human and that filled me up with so much joy, I didn't have space to be annoyed. This pregnancy came at the heels of a miscarriage which might explain why I've been wearing rose colored glasses and enjoying even the bad things so much.
I've also never felt more beautiful! My bump popped out early and has been very large and pronounced making me look much further along that what I am since early pregnancy and I love that I skipped the "is she pregnant or is she fat stage"
The other part I guess is for personal reasons; My husband and I have been together for 8 years and we planned and dreamed of a baby for so long and now that time is finally here. We are also planning to be one and done so I'm soaking up the experience since it'll be the only chance I have to live through this miracle.

Yes! I had a relatively easy pregnancy and felt like I looked beautiful while pregnant. I love dressing my bump!

Noooooo. I sometimes wonder if people who like pregnancy all live in regions where people are nice to pregnant women? Otherwise I do not get what there is to like about it. And I had a fairly easy pregnancy. I much prefer LO on the outside.

I hated being pregnant, and I even had an easy pregnancy...the thought of ever doing it again makes me queasy, which is one of the many reasons we're on the fence about whether to be one and done or not.

I liked being pregnant way more than the infant phase. It was easier, albeit pretty uncomfortable at the end.

No! I'm one month out and very happy to not be pregnant. After my first I missed parts of it. And sometimes I feel a little sad that I'll probably never be pregnant again but damn did the second one suck. I immediately felt better when the baby was born- like, even with the placenta still in it was such a weight off my back.
I can't say I'm ever going to really miss these newborn days either...

I miss it event though I didn't really like it! It's crazy, I had rough morning sickness until 20 weeks. Then at 25 weeks I had horrible pelvic and back pain until I gave birth. But now that DS is almost 4 years old, I'm looking forward to being pregnant again! I can't wait to feel those baby kicks. Also, knowing it will probably be my last pregnancy I really want to cherish it, hopefully I will be able too!
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
After having DS, I did. He was super kind to me and made my pregnancy really easy. Currently pregnant with DD and she's made it a bit harder for me (especially the first trimester), but not too bad. I'm sure I'll miss being pregnant once she arrives in March though. I enjoy being pregnant (I know, I'm weird).

I think I will miss feeling my baby moving around, but I will not miss the extra weight, fatigue, mood swings, nausea, sore ribs, aching back, heightened anxiety, constant peeing, carpal tunnel, insomnia, heartburn, lame wardrobe, or not being able to drink!
grapefruit / 4085 posts
I'm 34 weeks with my 2nd/last and can't wait to be done! I'm so over it. The only thing I may miss is feeling movement (when it's not painful!)
cantaloupe / 6634 posts
Not even a little bit.
ETA: So maybe the second tri but thats it. I loved the little bump and the slight movements. But having a knee in my ribs for two months is a "no." Love me some babies, not pregnancy,

yes! I absolutely loved being pregnant - but we're "one and done", so I won't get to do it again.
pineapple / 12053 posts
i was missing it the other day.... i think i was drugged or something because i was pretty indifferent to being pregnant this last time around!
