i thought i did for the 2.5 years i wasn't pregnant....then when i get migraines and super sensitive gag reflex, i wonder why i missed it. then things get better again and i love my maternity clothes (so comfy!), then the last 4 weeks, i can't move or get up or tie my shoes properly and i wonder again why i missed it!

Yes. I had an easy pregnancy and worked until 10 days before my due date and could easily have done a few more.

I loved having him to myself and remember being sad in the last couple of months that I would soon have to share the baby, haha.

I'm not sure. I'm currently 18 weeks with our third and whilst pregnancy generally has treated me well all three times, I just don't love it. I don't like feeling big or sluggish, I don't like all the restrictions or the heartburn towards the end, and I just kind of like having my body be completely my own, if that makes sense.

I'm trying to enjoy it all this time though as I know this is our last baby and I will never experience all of this again. Still not loving it though.... I'm sure I'll probably look back on my pregnancies fondly and miss them at some stage, but right now, I think I'll just feel relief when this is all over and I can enjoy my newborn snuggles again - now THAT is what I'll miss as I love the newborn days!

I was the biggest negative nancy when I was pregnant and complained about EVERYTHING. Looking back my pregnancy really wasn't that bad at all! I had zero morning sickness and besides being tired all the time it was pretty easy. Now that there are people pregnant around me I totally miss it!

Yes and no. I miss feeling the baby move, and feeling really strong. Every day I felt like I was accomplishing something. I do not miss feeling tired, sick, and huge. And the random aches and pains. And the swelling, weight gain, heartburn, etc. We want another baby, but I can't imagine being pregnant yet. DD is almost 6 months, so I have time!

I miss the kicks but I guess I don't have to be pregnant for that. I just have to have a friend that will let me touch her belly.

Pregnancy was not easy for me. Getting pregnancy was hard, having HG until 24 weeks, hospital stays and complications. Granted I don't know if all the complications and HG was due to the twin pregnancy. Some days I think I want a 3rd LO in the future and some days I think I'm fine with the two I have.

Sort of. I miss 2nd and even 3rd tri. I hate hate hate first tri and never want to go through one again. Unfortunately, I am prone to miscarriages so I keep going through first tri over and over again.

with the exception of about six weeks off after a D&C, I have been in the first trimester (of three different pregnancies) straight through since July 15. absolutely hate it--nothing but terror and discomfort. I hope one day I'll get to experience the second trimester and that maybe it'll shift my feelings towards pregnancy.
    @catlady: exactly.

I HATE the first tri and my second pregnancy was way more physically tiring but yes. I like being pregnant and I always feel beautiful when I'm pregnant.

Haha. I definitely do NOT miss the morning sickness. But I do miss being able to keep eating and eating and eating, and snack and snack more. Even though it is all healthy foods it is OK. As long as I have some peanut butter and cheerios and sweet snacks. And still my face and body still look skinny. Sob sob. Now it is like, oh no I just ate a piece of chocolate? Oh no oh no oh no. Argh.

Apart from that, I do miss the kicks. And I miss how discipline I was, that was probably the healthiest time of my life. I don't miss not being able to eat sushi, drink wine, coffee, tea, and chocolate though. Not eating sushi was the biggest biggest challenge for me.

After my first pregnancy, I missed it the second he was born.

After my second, not so much.

If I could guarantee a repeat of my first pregnancy, I'd do it 5 more times.

    Exactly that!!!!

I'm also so anxious at the beginning. And now after a loss in the summer I'm almost 18 weeks and still worried all the time!

It's easy for me so far though. But i feel so lazy and squishy because I'm just so tired!

Other than the first trimester morning sickness and exhaustion I had a relatively easy pregnancy and didn't mind it. I'm absolutely dreading that first trimester again though. Ugh.

I do! We're not sure if we'll have more kids, but I would do pregnancy over and over again.

I do miss it! I had a reasonably easy pregnancy & I felt so womanly, powerful & beautiful. It was just so awesome to grow this amazing little person! We haven't decided if & when to try for #2, but I sure hope we get there (& that I have a similar experience!).

Crazy talk! The bloating, the carpal tunnel, the pelvic floor muscle pain ... no, thanks

Eta: I did like the hiccups and all the soft baby kicks (not the hard ones, those hurt ... lol).
