I didn't enjoy being pregnant. Every feeling was new and different, and I was so scared the entire time.
I felt really alone and it was so hard working and being pregnant.
Now that LO is here (4months) I'd like to be pregnant again. I kind of miss it, which is crazy!
I think will enjoy it more the second time.
Do you think you will enjoy your second pregnancy more than your first?
If you already have been through two pregnancies, did you enjoy it more the second time?

I didn't mind most of my pregnancy but I think it'll be easier to tolerate a second time around because I am more familiar with it and because ill have my first LO distracting me!

I got crazy awful migraines during my pregnancy..... so if that happens again, no, I won't enjoy it. Plus last time I wasn't working and could literally lay on the couch in a dark room all day and do nothing. Even going on a computer with the bright light would hurt me. I was bored... but I felt good that I could avoid my triggers. Now I'm a SAHM so I'm running after my toddler all day. I'm not sure how that will work with migraines all day every day.
I also worry a lot about how LO will react to another baby. She's very jealous of babies now, and she's used to it being only Mommy and LO all the time. I know when I get pregnant I'll just be worrying more about this.

I think so. I had a SCH that just sort of hung out my entire pregnancy, and at least during the first trimester I was told there was a chance it would cause me to miscarry (it was between the placenta and uterine wall), so that was always hanging over my head. And I was sick all the way until he came out. If those two things don't happen again (or at least the SCH) I think I'll enjoy it a lot more.

I hope that I relax more with my second. I had spotting and infection issues throughout my pregnancy. When I get pregnant with number #2, I'll start drinking kefir right away to protect against infections. If I can be infection free and spotting free the next time, I'll be happy.

I actually liked being pregnant the first time (usually). I think it will be harder the second time because I'll have a child to care for, so I'll be bending and lifting more and won't be able to relax as much.

I had a really nice, fairly easy pregnancy. I was a little too uptight but that's just my personality. I would think I won't 'enjoy' my next pregnancy as much because I won't be able to just focus on myself. Your first pregnancy is like your princess pregnancy - everyone is so excited for you and dotes on you. I have a feeling it's not the same the second time around

Still preggo right now, but I'm totally loving it!! Then again, I didn't experience morning sickness so that could be a slight advantage. If my 2nd pregnancy is anything like this one, I'd enjoy it also!

I absolutely loved being pregnant. Every single second of it, despite the morning sickness, having to pee all the time, sciatic pain and asthma problems.
I'm looking forward to (hopefully) being pregnant again but wonder if it will be harder having a toddler. I remember being tired and taking lots of naps on the weekends and going to bed early most of the time. I suspect I won't get to do that the second time around

Hmmm so far I'm a lot more relaxed about it. I was an anxious mess the first time. What's been harder so far in the first tri is still being upbeat and playful with my 6 month old even though I feel crappy. I think ultimately I will enjoy this pregnancy because there's not as much fear of the unknown.

No. I don't like pregnancy; I can't see that changing. I see it as a really annoying thing you have to do in order to get your baby:)
I do think I will be more excited for baby #2 though because it'll be more real.

I think so. I think knowing a little more what to expect will make it a bit easier. Plus, I already know how awesome of a result months of discomfort will get you

I wasn't a fan of being pregnant either. We had a lot of issues getting pregnant and I had 2 miscarriages prior to LO, so I'm going to be a nervous wreck again until I would get out of the 1st trimester. And after that, we had a slew of issues and I had GD. I'm going to say no...I'm not going to be a fan of being pregnant the second time either! But...still so worth it :o)

I didn't like being pregnant last time around...but I enjoyed my first one. Part of the decision of trying again is trying to decide if I really want to feel like that again!

I don't particularly enjoy being pregnant. With my first I was in grad school, but really I had a lot more free time on my hands to obsess about things. I'm 6 mos along with #2 and really it's seems to fly by. Like, I still forget I'm pregnant and get confused for a second when I can't squat down to get something and easily pop back up. The hardest part is with a toddler you can't sleep whenever you want to and it's tricky to keep up with them. I think pregnancy is definitely different the second+ time around, but some parts are harder and others are easier!

Yes! I adored pregnancy and I am totally dying to do it again. I really never believed that it was real, though. I think I'll enjoy it more next time when I really believe that it'll end in a baby. I think I was just too scared to get my hopes up the first time.

I haven't had too bad of a pregnancy, but I had a previous m/c so I've been anxious the entire time, which sucks. I am hoping I'll be more relaxed next time, and if I don't have horrendous morning sickness that would help too!

I did not. Both my pregnancies were very smooth, but my second pregnancy didn't have the novelty that being pregnant with my first had (for the record, I loved being pregnant the first time around). Plus, I was also too busy chasing around a toddler who still wanted to be held all the time to really "enjoy" my 2nd pregnancy. All that chasing and carrying made pregnancy more tiring too.

I liked being pregnant, only thing that scares me about getting pregnant again though was the awful morning sickness I had the first time. I spent weeks 6-17 lying on the couch with a container next to me to throw up in and I literally could not do anything, so that's not going to be enjoyable with an almost 2 year old when I get pregnant again.
As soon as I gave birth, I really missed being pregnant, I don't think I enjoyed it as much as I should have.

I am currently pregnant with #2 and honestly I don't even remember that I am pregnant. My life is way more chaotic now so I have literally NO time to dwell on the fact that I am pregnant like I did with my first. I have a feeling it is going to FLY by.

I thought I would, but I didn't. With my first pregnancy, I was working so much and there was a ton going on in my life. With my second, I wasn't working, my body hurt so much more and I was chasing a toddler around - I was miserable.

With both pregnancies my first trimester was pretty awful and after that was pretty easy. Although my pregnancies have been pretty similar so far I think I am enjoying this second one much better. I know what to expect and what is normal so I'm not worrying, and since it is another boy I don't have to buy anything! I'm just much more relaxed this time, and I exercise more and am just generally more active, so I have more energy and less aches and pains.

Enjoyed my first pregnancy way more. 2nd time around wasnt fun bc I was chasing after a toddler. Body hurt more too

God I hope the second is better. It's fine now, but during the first trimester I had such bad morning sickness. All I could think of then was how people have a second. I couldn't imagine caring for a child 24/7 while throwing up all the time and feeling so utterly exhausted.

I am currently pregnant with my second, and I don't think I'll have a chance to enjoy this pregnancy because I have a toddler to take care of. Before it was so easy to take a break and nap when I needed to. I don't have that opportunity anymore.

2nd time around was a lot harder with a toddler. I have zero desire to be pregnant a 3rd time because that means 2 kids to take care of while being pregnant! Gah! It did fly by though. You just don't have time to think/stress about it. I felt bad about how little I thought about the 2nd baby, but I am making up for it now that she is here!

This is my second pregnancy and I joke that this kid is being shafted already because I just don't have the time or energy to enjoy or marvel this time around. I'm tired but I have a toddler to chase after.

The only reason I remember I'm pregnant is because of the nausea, which I didn't have with DS. So no ... Definitely NOT enjoying it more this time!
