Can you *please* put in a good word for starting a BR maternity line? I seriously do not understand why Banana doesn't make mat clothes - professional women in their late 20s-30s are their prime market!
(Not pregnant, just looking at my wardrobe and wondering how the heck I am going to fake professional with #2.)

I could keep it together pretty well with Gap maternity separates (wool trousers, pencil skirt, wrap dress) and a blazer/cardigan. Until the very end

yes totally agree! I have some professional pieces from loft maternity that I love, but I'd love to have BR options

Agree too! Luckily, my office is not too formal. I don't know what I would do if I actually had to wear a suit to work.

I wondered about that. If we get pregnant, what will I do for suits!?! I wear one everyday, but would hate to need to buy abwhole new suit wardrobe!

Totally agree. I just delete my BR emails right now... no point in buying anything there for the foreseeable future! J.Crew just came out with a few maternity options, but so far I just see capri pants and jeans.

Gap maternity is getting phased out so I doubt they'd start a line for BR...

Ahhh this would be amazing. I live in BR clothes at work, and really struggled to find maternity pieces that were appropriate for the office.
Buttt, even if they did get a maternity line, I doubt they would carry it in Canada because Gap doesn't.

you. You know what was torture? Being in BR 7 months pregnant with DH to shop. I couldn't even look at the women's clothes I was so upset. I did buy myself a hat though

This makes me glad that my work is business casual. But maternity clothes shopping was no fun. I felt it was expensive since retailers know we didn't have many options.

Destination Maternity has some jackets and blazers and I just ordered a couple. So far, I have been pairing my non-maternity jackets with maternity pants. I have ordered several things from Gap online. At least they have free shipping on returns!
