I didn't think it was related at all, but at my last OB appt I mentioned that Baby H likes to swim all around at night.... I do feel her here and there in the daytime, but at night she really gets wild!
The nurse said, "Uh oh, that means when she gets here she's going to be up all night..." I don't necessarily believe that, but did the patterns you notice in the womb seem similar once your LO got here?

@jholler25: DS did not move much when I was pregnant so I'm not sure. He did have his nights and days confused though and was up about every 45 minutes each night for the first month! I was DYING for some sleep. I certainly hope this LO has a better sleep pattern.

I think unborn babies tend to be more active at night because that's when mom typically sits down and rests...movement during the day tends to rock them to sleep. L was much more active at night when I'd finally get in bed, but she did not have day and night confusion or anything (but she did wake up every two to three hrs... Brutal!).

I don't think they're related. LO was very active in the womb. She woke me up all night with her ninja moves, but she's been a stellar sleeper from the get-go (through the night by 3 weeks). However, her awake time is nothing but movement. She is the craziest, spaz baby I've ever seen. I'm a bit anxious about her becoming mobile

Yes, every night was a rockin' dance party in the womb and LO was nocturnal when she was born. It took a good month to switch her days and nights.

My lo was very quiet at night and when she got here, her day/night schedule was not as reversed as people said it would be.

That was totally the case for me! Sawyer would live to sleep from 2am to 2 pm every day. It took me 3 months to get him to a 10pm bed time, and he skips back to 11-midnight bedtimes SO easily.

My baby was super active all the time. Literally was bonkers in utero. He was not a super sleepy newborn - even at a few weeks old it was hard to get him to sleep!

Kind of? My son was always more active at night, when I was lying down and to this day he's still a crap sleeper at night...lol!

My baby was a night owl in the womb but she sleeps pretty well at night now!

I really hope this is not true:) my little man dance parties it up in there at night too.
