@gentlelunette: I've been feeling the same way today! Not as much movement today as yesterday. I'm sure it's just because the baby is still too small to consistently feel movement - it is nerve wracking though!

@josina: @Beehive: well, its reassuring that I'm not the only one. I think I felt a few thumps and bumps when I was eating dinner. I know some women don't even feel baby until later, so I guess I should just chill out! I think it's likely just that babe is still pretty tiny.

@tbuzz: welcome and congratulations. I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly!

I am so ansty to find out whether we are having a boy or a girl! I have an appointment this week and should be able to schedule the anatomy scan for next month. We really don't have time to do much to prepare for baby until November due to a crazy schedule in Sept/October, but I'm sooo ready to be able to do SOMETHING.

@tbuzz: welcome!! and yay for more twins!!! we have so many twins in feb!!!! how cool!

@Pumuckl: Yes, I do feel like my bump is growing at a super fast rate. It's crazy. Have you other twin moms felt much movement yet? I've only felt a very small amount so far. But I didn't feel much with my other pregnancies either, so I guess that's not unusual for me.

@gilmoregirl: Me too, can't wait to find out what we're having, then I'll start getting things ready and buying things (esp. if its a girl). Oct. 5th can't come soon enough!

@gentlelunette: How's baby moving? Are you still nervous about it? It's actually driving me nuts that I've been so busy lately I don't have time to just lay down and try and feel him/her, so I haven't felt much lately either. I'm sure its just because its so early though.

I feel like I 'popped' recently! 16 weeks today and there is no hiding this baby belly anymore!

@josina: thanks for asking... I was feeling really stressed about it over the weekend but felt a lot more movement on Tuesday and much more today. I have a midwife appointment tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to hearing the heartbeat for some added reassurance!

I also feel like I've really popped The last few days. It's starting to look like a serious belly!

@gentlelunette: How was the heartbeat?! My 16 week appt is today, so excited to hear the hb again!

I took a 16 week photo... and compared to the 18 week photo with DS I'm about the same if not showing even more.

Hoping to get some more maternity jeans this weekend, I went through my old stuff and definitely going to need some new clothes! Yay?

@NorthStar: yup. DD was much higher than this one. And we're having a boy this time (will be 100% confirmed on 9/19, but blood work showed )

@josina: heartbeat was perfect, 152! I'm thinking it might be another girl because the heart rates have been so similar to my daughter's. Have you had your appointment yet? How did it go?

Booked my anatomy scan for September 19 so only 10 more days till we get to find out!! :boy:?? ??

@gentlelunette: Just had mine today, 146, right in line with DS so I'm thinking boy, but I did read to hb has been debunked. We'll find out in 3-1/2 weeks!
I'm curious to see if all of us are right with out guesses.

Would anyone be interested in a closed/secret Facebook group? As our pregnancies progress and we get to know each other better, it would be nice to share bump pictures and eventually a birth announcement with you ladies, but I don't like to put too much online. I'd be happy to start it up and add anyone who is interested. In my last pregnancy we all got so close and even did a Christmas exchange when the babies were 8/9 months old. Let me know what you guys think- no worries if there's no interest, just thought I'd throw it out there!

@gentlelunette: I would be, also in a facebook group for the Dec. 2014 moms.

I'd be interested too, I think! I've never been part of a secret/closed fb group-- does it show up on your timeline/newsfeed? I try to keep hb and "real life" somewhat separate

I've been terrible at keeping up here lately, I'm sorry everyone! My school year has started but our daycare is still on break so things are a bit hectic! I got a call from the dr today that my afp/quad screen test came back normal and was so relieved I burst out crying-- I'm 19 weeks tomorrow but I think I've still been holding my breath this whole time waiting for something bad to happen after our loss last winter. Cannot wait for our anatomy scan in 2 weeks so I can really relax!

@gentlelunette: I would be interested it the closed/private FB group too. I've been horrible keeping up here, so being on there might be a bit easier for me.

@Pumuckl: thank you! it took me off guard that I felt so much relief today, I didn't even realize how anxious I was!

Oh about heartbeats--this babe is a girl and her hbs have been in the 140s for my past few scans

Ok, so I'm trying to set up the group but before I can do that, I need people's email addresses. I'm trying to figure out the best way to get you to send your email addresses to me. You could wall it to me, but I'm not gold so it would be visible to other people. I'd be willing to subscribe to gold if need be, but only if it's the only way.

I guess the other option would be for me to set up an email account that you could send your email addresses to? I don't want to post my real email since it's my name. lol.

Anyone have any ideas I haven't thought about?

@gentlelunette: I agree with @josina: . You should be able to create the group, make it private and then let us know the name. We should be able to search for it and ask to be added.

Just received word that our neural tube defect blood test came back negative! whew. one more hurdle crossed. Now, to start the count down until the ultrasound in 3.5 weeks! I cannot come fast enough!

@josina: Sure! Ultrasound is on 10/6, but we aren't finding out the sex.
