@AngelicOne: ohh spinning. K did that this weekend too. I couldn't come up with a good way to describe it. It made me feel like army crawling is on the horizon.

@AngelicOne: @MamaG: Haha spinning!! I wasnt sure what to call it either. H loves spinning - towards toys, or towards the direction of our voices.
H isn't sitting yet; he doesn't seem to have much interest?! Trying to crawl, though, so maybe he just cant be bothered.

We sat up for a good minute today
I was sooo proud with camera ready...lol
She does this thing where she will stiff up and launch backwards??? Anyone else's LO? So I am terrified to not be right next to her to catch her! -
@FaithFertility: haha that is too funny! maybe that's her practicing straightening up her back? K doesn't go backwards... She usually falls sideways. She doesn't sit super straight yet, still a lil hunched!

Just had our appointment today!

Working on: Sitting up straight unsupported by her hands (we can do it for a lil bit at a time right now), pincer grab, crawling (she is spinning for now), I think she's starting to respond to her name... -
Looks like we are all hovering around 26" long!

Working on: crawling-for now he just moves his arms and legs up and down vigorously and gets frustrated he can't go anywhere! We'd love for him to be able to sit unassisted for longer. -
@theotherstark: wow, he's LONG! Are you or your DH particularly tall? It would seem you are going to have one tall kiddo on your hands.

And a quick update for us - K now has both of her bottom teeth. One came in on Saturday and the other followed immediately on Sunday.

Recent milestone: she can hold herself standing. She can't get there herself, but if you stand her up holding onto something she can keep herself up.
Working on: sitting up. She's close, but whenever she's in a sitting position she gets distracted and leans forward to get to whatever's in front of her.

For all the spinning/pivoting babies, one of my employees said that K looks like an army tank when she does this little move. That's all I can ever think of now when she does it. And given her chunky nature, tank might be a good descriptor for her
