Ok I have a wedding to go to this weekend. My immediate family know I'm pregnant but no one else ( including the bride) and I don't want them to know. I can't find anything to wear, I like this dress but do you think I look pregnant? I'm only 10 weeks and not sucking anything in... Do you think I could get away with it? Maybe with some sucky in undies?

I mean I am a little chunky to begin with and maybe it's just cause I know... But I feel I look pregnant! Atleast ill be able to look back at this in a few months and laugh!!

I think you will be fine. Even if some crazy observant person noticed, I doubt they would say anything in case they were wrong.

LOL I don't know how to say this without sounding insulting but you just look a little bloated in the pic. I don't think anyone would pick it. I'm also a lot bloated - will POAS again on Friday - and would probably look about the same as you. I bought a new dress with a busy pattern on it to hide it, I think the dress you have is probably the right way to go.

I think the pattern and the placement of the knot helps hide the tummy. Also, I think people would have to be really insensitive to ask at this point because you're not obviously showing.

Aaaaaw!!!! Look at your teeny little baby bump!!!! This makes me so happy!!!! But, honestly, I think if I didn't know you were pregnant I wouldn't guess. The pretty dress hides the bump nicely and if someone does guess there's NO WAY they'd say anything (surely) as you may have just put on a little tummy weight!

I don't think any one in their right mind would say something about you being pregnant. If they did say something, I think you could totally lie and just say, yea I've been eating a few too many doughnuts or something.

awww thanks everyone.. i was kind of dreading coming back to this thread to see the responses, but feel much happier now. I'm taking this nothing fits but I don't look pregnant yet thing really hard and this wedding is just an awkward time we probably would have told extended family by now but I didn't want to steal the brides thunder so we decided to wait the full twelve weeks... I'll see if I can find a before pregnant pic, but not sure i have a side on one.

I think you'll be fine. I also agree with the PPs that said no one in their right mind should ask! If they do, you'll actually be in the 'winning' side of it because you can embarrass them by saying something along the lines of not being pregnant. then they will feel badly for asking

Oh no, you are fine. BUT, I finally told everyone last week (at 13 weeks) and asked if anyone was suspicious. The people that had been waiting and watching could see a bump (which was chub, not the bump at all, but that's another story). So what I'm saying is that the people in baby-watch mode will imagine a bump, no matter what, but the people who aren't, won't be able to tell.

It's tough to say without knowing what you looked like before pregnancy, but the dress looks great, and I think the pattern is a good choice for hiding an early bump! As a stranger, I certainly wouldn't ask you if you were pregnant based on the picture.
